Jason had a listing my husband and I were interested in; our realtor showed us the home and we…read moreattended an open house. When we decided that we wanted to make an offer on the property we asked Jason and his clients for a disclosure report and for the inspection report we knew they had (from a previous deal that fell through). They refused to give us this, so we wrote it into our offer that we wanted to be provided these things, and they eventually agreed. At this time we thought it was a little fishy that they would not be forthcoming with the information, but they agreed, so we proceeded. We scheduled an inspection, and it turns out this inspector is the one that did the previous inspection. He felt morally obligated to disclose some information he knew about the property....the previous owners cooked methamphetamine in the home. Jason and his clients didn't feel it necessary (even though Arkansas law requires it) to disclose that information to us. We quickly voided the contract and walked away from that home! Not only was it dishonest of Jason and his clients, but their not disclosing that information could put people at risk for potential health risks. I don't trust Jason and would never hire him or buy a home from him.
