It has been a year since I had my hair done (I wanted blonde, with dark blonde and strawberry blonde peakaboo streaks). She told me she would do blonde( 2 shades) ...not what I wanted but ok. My hair is not anything like I wanted!!! I showed her like 6 photos of what I wanted and she acted like she understood. She kept complaining about how long it was taking, how usually she's done sooner, my hairs so complicated etc (like everything about my hair was a pain and sooooo much work for her). Her and another stylist talked crap about 2 different customers after they left. She was rough with my hair (my neck was all red and scratched after I left there from her combing my neck instead of my hair). She left dye on my scalp and told me to clean up myself!!! I will post what my hair looked like last time I got it colored which is what I wanted done this time and what it looks like now. I feel horrible because my niece recommended this woman and shes horrible!!! Also conveniently, today was her last day working at this salon. Waste of $200 bucks!!! Notice the line in back of my hair too. My hair is blonder up top which doesn't look bad but then the rest of my hair is brown!!!

I reached out to her via Yelp to inquire about her service & her price points. I included my phone number & email at the bottom of my message to her. A few hours later I get a text from her, introducing herself & gave me her price for a full set of lash extensions & price of fills. We continued to text throughout the day & she was able to fit me in the following week in the morning! She is so sweet & personable. She made me feel so comfortable. The last time I had lash extensions put in was quite painful and I had told her that I was nervous about it. She said it shouldn't hurt at all! And indeed it didn't hurt! I felt ZERO pain. I've heard of people getting their lashes done by a professional & still feeling pain. Christy does it right! I didn't feel stinging or anything. The process went by so fast, she's so much fun to talk to. After we finished she explained lash care & that I'd see a few fall out & it's completely normal. And truly it is. Shortly after I…read moreleft my appointment, my lashes started curling inward rapidly to the point it got uncomfortable to close my eyes. When I reached out to Glenda, she told me this was normal. I reached out to other studios and they told me that the wrong rod was used on my eye and I would need to get this relaxed. When I brought that up to Glenda, she told me this is normal (once again) and that this is just how my eyelashes react to this process, but that she could try to make it even. My eyelashes became even more curled and uncomfortable. On top of this, she left the room a number of times while I had the perming solution on my eyes. This made me uncomfortable because I had never had these products on my face and did not know how I would react. I thought this was a normal process, but I have gotten my lashes lifted twice since this service, and each time it has been significantly more comfortable and the results have been better, for over half the price. Additionally, my artist has never left the room, and ensures I am comfortable the entire time.
