Not ideal for a wax session, but it really works. As a first time customer I was offered 50% off. My "waxer" could sense that I was a bit tense and offered me a stress ball. Once again, it worked. She would place the wax strip on my body, rip, then press...it really wasn't that bad! She recommended a gel product to prevent ingrown hair, and it worked. The treatment was followed up with a personal phone call the next day to see how I was and if I had questions. Then I received a card in the mail thanking me for using their services and a 10% off of my next waxing. Overall this was an excellent experience for a "newby " to waxing. I'm used to being given a minute or two to undress and get on the table, but my waxer just turned around and said "go ahead -- get undressed." I was a little nervous but was pleasantly surprised by how fast it felt; I'm used to these waxes taking around 20-25 but was up in 15. She told me that she had left "a few" hairs behind but that because it had been so long, that was inevitable, and to keep coming back to make it better each time. I tipped well and left shocked at how painful it was but happy it went quickly. When I got home and looked for myself I realized she'd left hair pretty much everywhere, not just a few little ones like I expected. Even the butt strip (sorry) had leftover hair, and that's a famously easy part to wax. I get a few hairs, but this was patches all over each area in a way that I've never experienced with any other wax, not even my first. I think that the skin was not pulled taut and that a bunch of hair broke as a result. The worst part was the leftover wax that was left all over. It stuck to my undergarments and body. Because so much hair was left behind I had to use a bunch of baby oil to get all the wax out of it. I cancelled my next appointment and will be going somewhere else.

TBH I was scared of going to anyone else after some serious disasters over the years. However after realizing I had over tweezed and shaped my brows too thin over time, I made the choice to grow them out and go to Kaitlyn Zenger. Normally I would just grow them out and reshape them again myself, however Kaitlyn's reputation of being an amazing eyebrow specialist has grown tremendously since meeting her in school. I knew she was the one who could help me and I could trust her to do what I needed with no traumas. I went to beauty school with her and she's always been known to be a wizard with waxing...specifically eyebrows even from the first service she performed on a client. Eyebrow shaping really is an art and not everyone can do it right...even after good training. She is a complete natural at it and does it in a way that is less painful than anyone else I've ever had wax me. She's incredibly thorough, friendly and professional. She even gave me some great recommendations to help me with my brow journey. I honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience. Since I've gone to school and know proper sanitation protocols I'm super conscious of infection control and cleanliness. Everything from the time I walked in to the time I walked out was spot on and on par or above state regulations. That in itself should sell you on this place as at least 80% of other places that offer waxing services aren't abiding to sanitation regulations, don't practice proper infection control protocols and/or use subpar products. When you're dealing with waxing and vulnerable skin you NEED to be knowledgeable and aware of what to look for and know you're in a clean place. I can't recommend Kaitlyn enough. I didn't even know I could have such a nice clean shape, these are seriously the best I've ever had my eyebrows without makeup. I'm in utter shock on the magic she did with the mess I gave her to work with. My grown out brows were pretty tricky to shape a good eyebrow out of.

I'm absolutely obsessed with pretty lashes so I'd always wear fake ones (because mine were short, sparse, blonde and stick straight - the combo from hell.) On my first visit I told her about the serum I had just started using, she advised me that I could bump up my usage of it, and oh my gosh! Within a few weeks they were drastically thicker and longer. The results have amazed me. Paired with my lift/tint, they absolutely look better than ever and I don't even wear my falsies anymore! Which is a big deal for me haha. (I've considered lash extensions but the maintenance really doesn't fit with my lifestyle so this is undoubtedly the next best thing!) I don't have to curl them at all anymore and they are dark and perfect. They look great right when I wake up in the morning and after I remove my makeup at night.
