The building is some sort of old restaurant with a drive through and outdoor patio. It seems that the building has served the purpose of a cleaners for some time now. The group of individuals operating Keene's is awesome! I've been in three times and each interaction has been pleasant. I had a tuxedo, suit, and two shirts dry cleaned here over the course of a week. They were ready for pickup within a day or two each time and the prices were very reasonable for the work being done. I will continue to go to Keene's for all of my dry cleaning needs!

When I returned to discuss this issue, the owner was extremely rude without provocation, raised her voice, and demanded to see my phone to ensure I was not recording our interaction. She continuously tried to end the conversation, saying that I was "wasting her time" with my concerns. Employees relayed an inaccurate version of events to her, making me out to be a confrontational and ungracious customer after I gently expressed my dissatisfaction with their service. While she eventually offered a $50 store credit, it was inadequate given the damage caused, and I had no confidence in them after the way this situation was handled. This was my first dry cleaning experience and I am astonished. As a Christian establishment in the community for over 70 years, the lack of professionalism and accountability is unacceptable.

Further research has shown that the company is in decline so this is obviously an effort to save the business. In fact she was not even available for comment on weekends, leaving her low-paid workers with minimal communication skills to handle the situation which they did poorly. I left a message but the owner seems to be ignoring my complaint. They also slipped in extra charges claiming "cat or dog hair" which they do automatically if they find out you have a pet, so don't admit to having a pet to them. My clothes could not have had pet hair because they are kept at my work warehouse and never go near my house. They just thought they could get away with an extra charge. Dishonest and unscrupulous people here. Avoid at all cost.
