Wow....another 1 star review for these guys. What can I say about Gemini Sound?? First they shipped a completely dead unit. Second they tell me to destroy the unit and send proof so they don't have to pay to ship it back. So I did.... Now they say they provided the "authorized resller" a "credit" but have no way to force them to ship me WORKING unit. Which they apparently have no intention of doing. (Zero communication from the authorized reseller) Gemini tells me to charge back with my credit card company. Pfffffsch. ALL THIS after a Gemini employee instructed me to destroy the defective unit! Gemini Sound ship faulty products that don't last more then a few months and won't do anything to fix it because im in Canada even though they say you have a 1 year warranty. These speakers would not be reliable to transport for gigging or any live use they can't even hold up just being used in a small studio once a week for band practice. read more

I purchased a Gemini TT-4000 Direct Drive Turntable, it came out the box with the pin broken in the arm. I submitted a claim with pictures and videos to show proof, and before I even submitted any evidence, Felix said, We've never heard of that issue before. I wish I had read these reviews before buying my As-15P. I needed a little extra fire power for a gig so I bought this speaker, rated at 2000 Watts, Which is a much higher rating than anything that I use.I used it one time. 32 days later, I attempted to use it again. During the Soundcheck, it was obvious that the horn had blown. I contacted the seller, pitbull audio, who gleefully told me that since it was past 30 days, I would have to go directly to Gemini for relief. It cost me $75 to ship it to Gemini. I begged them to just send me a horn driver, offering to replace it myself, and void any remaining warranty. I told them I could not afford to ship it, to deaf ears.So I bit the bullet and paid the $75, which included buying a box, since I had not kept the original box. Yesterday, they contacted me, and told me I would have to pay them an additional $153, because it had shipped in an oversize box. So I had already spent $234, and they insisted that I send them an additional $153 for a $169 speaker, or they would just scrap mine. Unbelievable customer service, and lack of empathy. To be honest, at the beginning, this was a great little setup. It sounds good enough, is lightweight, and has enough options to get by. I ran into an issue a high end driver so reached out to Gemini for some info. I knew it was out of warranty so was literally just looking to purchase replacement parts. Not available. No individual parts are available. So, if you do have issues, which you will, it's essentially a $600 paper weight after a year. This is quite possibly the WORST company and customer service I've ever dealt with. I bought a DJ system in APRIL and had it shipped to Michigan where my wedding is being held on June 28th, 2014. One of Gemini's DRS15-P speakers did not work properly, and it took over 2 weeks just to get a return RMA number. I have been e-mailing and calling since May 27th, and had spoke with a Mr. Angel Resto and a man named David (who would not give me his last name) in the Customer Service department. There are many times that I would call and nobody would even answer during Business hours!! Gemini Sound website clearly states that there's a 10 day, guaranteed turn-around on any repair work. It has now been well over 2 weeks and any time I can actually get through to someone, they simply state, "it's still in repair" I put a lot of faith in this company's product, and even though I received faulty equipment, they have yet to rectify the situation. One customer service rep, David, also promised me he'd mark the package URGENT and send me an e-mail to confirm that he'd done so. This never happened. I was told that they couldn't ship me another speaker or any other's comparable. My fiancé had al ready called the CEO, Artie Cabasso, and never got a reply. I'm sure this is not how an International Company runs a business, and all the music for my wedding is hinging on this repair. I'm still hoping somebody can come through and make this work, but with 4 days now until the wedding, I'm not so optimistic.
