The solar industry is filled with shady people selling folks over-sized, cookie cutter systems. The contractors come from out of town, install your system, and you never hear from them again. With Texas Direct, I was able to order the latest in solar technology at a good price and get the exact system that I wanted. My solar project did have several setbacks though. The city permits took forever. We received the wrong IQ gateway, and there was a mix up with the financing. The guys at Texas Direct worked through all my issues, and I have nothing but good things to say about Anthony and Michael. When you have people drilling holes in your roof, you had better make sure you are dealing with a reputable company. Don't trust your home to just anyone. For a great system and a quality installation, go with Texas Direct Solar! If you're on the fence about going solar.... don't be! Last summer my light bill averaged nearly $500 dollars per month. Our upfront cost was still a bit high because of the batteries, but we now have backup power without the need to purchase a generator. The batteries allow us much more system flexibility, and we don't have a fifteen-thousand-dollar generator wasting away in our backyard. My system works great. It produces even on partly cloudy days, and most of my panels aren't facing south. The app to monitor the system is awesome. I use it every day. I am extremely happy with my purchase, and thankful that I chose Texas Direct Solar.

NOTE: Didn't buy (at least yet), but what a great team to work w/. Frankly, I wanted my cousin to…read morework for the company. Extremely thorough. Had all of the calculations prepared, great 3D software where they could make changes to panel placement and see the change in production/cost. I'm a fan.

Plus, with two Powerwalls, our entire home is fully backed up during an outage, giving us total peace of mind. One of the coolest parts of this setup is the visibility. The system helped us pinpoint exactly where a lot of our energy usage was stemming from. Now, we are able to load shift our power usage to different times of the day, allowing our solar to sell way more energy back to the grid! A massive shoutout to Sam Cochran, who guided us through the entire process. Sam was incredibly knowledgeable, responsive, and made what could have been a complicated project feel completely seamless. If you are looking to upgrade your home energy, do yourself a favor and ask for Sam!"

There is no one in charge of the project and you speak to someone new each time and there never seems to be any follow through. They did not show up for the site assessment and ended up having to reschedule after we waited all day for their arrival. We have had multiple phone calls asking for the same thing and each time it is promised to be done right away, but never gets done. If I could just cancel the contract at this point I would as I have no faith that it is going to get done right or on time. I am not thrilled that my warranty is going to be dependent on a company that fails to do what they say. David J. Harter Hutto, Texas

I called around and received a referral from another company in Arlington for Solstice Solar. So glad we found them. I spoke to Ashley who was extremely helpful in the site transfer process and even gave us an update regarding our solar panels and their health. Additionally, she sent helpful links in regards to picking an electricity company and reviewed why our bill might be a little higher than normal and suggestions for the future to consider. Any service, if needed in the future, we will definitely use them! I appreciate the customer service!!

They drafted up the whole HOA proposal, filed it and paid the permit fees. Dealt with everything from the energy provider. The HOA proposal was 18 pages long, and they wrote it. And the cost was less than Tesla wanted. Of course, Tesla came back and said, hey, we'll match that price. But at this point, it's too late. Like, why do I want to go back to you guys? Tesla energy is hard to work with and was being unreasonable. I signed the contract moved on, bought it from solstice. No regrets. I did still get the Tesla powerwall 3 and Tesla controller. Install was super smooth. ASHLEY is great to work with!

Most people don't get to have much experience replacing a 20-30 year-old roof. Our recent roof placement was definitely a first-time experience for us. We received a referral to Stallion Solutions and called to make an appointment to inspect our roof. This is when we had the pleasure of meeting Brian Pfeiffenberger, a Project Manager for Stallion Solutions. After meeting Brian, we were given white glove customer service all the way to the end of the project. We just can't say enough about the service and quality behind everything Stallion Solutions does. They don't cut corners. I never knew how much nicer an expertly installed roof could add to the looks of our home. Brian presented quality shingle options to us, and walked us through a very informative presentation on warranties. They ended up installing a drip-edge that matched the shingles, unlike most contractors who paint to match the eve of the house. Wow, that drip-edge really pops and looks beautiful. I could go on and on, but needless to say, we are incredibly happy. Our more than twenty-year-old home looks almost new again. We are so grateful to Brian and Stallion Solutions. Given the quality of the work they did, I doubt I'll have to call Stallion Solutions for years to come. But if I knew a friend or member of the family in need of a new roof, I would suggest no one else but Stallion. They are truly the best!

Working with the initial representative, Brian Hanna, on my late 2025 hail damage claim was…read moreinitially a great experience. He was helpful during the early stages of the project. However, once contractual issues arose and the owner (Brian P) became involved, the process went downhill. There were several factual issues with the completion of this project: Incorrect Materials: The wrong decking was initially installed and had to be remediated. Deficient Installation and Debris: After gutters were installed in March 2026, there were unresolved installation leaks, and leftover materials and hardware were left in the yard. Refusal to Remediate: When I requested the gutter defects be fixed, the owner refused. They insisted I make the final payment first and treat the incomplete work as a warranty claim rather than an installation deficiency. Incomplete Cleanup: The owner explicitly stated that a magnet sweep and debris removal were not part of substantial completion and demanded payment before addressing the hazards left in my yard. Unprofessional Communication: When I held firm that the job needed to be finished before final payment, the company stopped responding to my calls, emails, and texts. They instead confirmed I would accrue late fees and noted their ability to engage in collection proceedings or file a property lien. During this time, I consulted with the Roofing Contractors Association of Texas (RCAT) to review the situation. To resolve the issue, I had to personally contact their subcontractor to get the gutter deficiency repaired. Once the subcontractor fixed the work, I submitted my final payment in early May 2026. The owner committed in writing on two separate occasions in April that upon final payment, they would perform a final site cleanup, including a magnet sweep, and provide my warranty documentation. It has now been over two months since my payment cleared, and neither has happened despite my multiple follow ups. Instead of honoring the written agreements, the owner now states the final cleanup is not necessary and it will only be performed for an additional fee, directly contradicting the April commitments to perform upon final payment. Furthermore, rather than providing the promised warranty documents, he told me I should go directly to the manufacturer to search for my warranty myself. Brian H was wonderful, but the owner's handling of contractual issues, incomplete work, and broken written commitments was deeply disappointing. Proceed with caution.
