Brought a car to him to get a stripped bolt out. Instead of removing the stripped bolt, he just…read moredrilled a hole in whatever direction felt good to him and absolutely destroyed my cylinder head AND the cam carrier. I could've done a better job blindfolded and drunk. He didn't ask me, he just kept drilling all over the place until he cost me 2 fucking grand and i KNOW ole boy can't pay for the replacement part. He was up all night and I really, honestly appreciated the effort, but I showed up to a $40 torque-to-yield bolt hanging out of my head at a 30° angle. No game plan, just what he felt like doing. If it needs an alternator or an oil change this MIGHT be your guy, but don't bring it to him for anything more than that. Or at all.

TL;DR at the bottom…read more before anything, i want to start with the positives. as a person, anthony is a decent, honest(??) guy with a positive mindset on life. that's about it for the positives. business with anthony has been an absolute headache. here's the whole timeline in order: my jeep wouldn't start. the jeep's power would come on (and stay on), but there wasn't even a sound coming from anywhere when trying to start it. i called tony up to come take a look at my jeep. he responded quickly, showed up quickly, and was nice throughout the whole diagnosis process. he looked under the hood for about 20 seconds, told me it was a faulty starter, and charged 40$ for it - i suppose that's the prerogative of a mechanic. i waited a few days for my appointment. the day came, & we both headed over to o'reillys to pick up a new starter. we headed back to my jeep, he installed the new starter, and then we tried to start the jeep - still wouldn't start. so he looked around, and eventually found that the fusebox was apparently "fried". so, we then had to order a new fusebox. i cashapped him the money so that he could order a new fusebox online. waited about a week (for delivery + he had hit me with a couple of delays on our appointment, no biggie), and the fusebox finally arrived. so, we pulled up again to install the new fusebox. after about 3 hours of him getting it installed, it was time to jumpstart the battery before anything (since at that point it had died from staying on) we connected the jumpstarter wires, and he noticed that the battery was getting very hot - it was starting to melt his jumpstarter wires. the jeep still would not start either, despite a new fusebox + new starter + jumpstarting. so, he suspected there was loose wiring somewhere. he looked around some and found that the wiring to the new starter (that HE installed) was loose, which apparently explained my previous fusebox being fried. as a result, this new fusebox that we just ordered was fried as well, which meant it was time to order ANOTHER new fusebox. so i cashapped him again, this time twice the amount as last time (since this fusebox was "tested" to work, i guess?). waited about a week for it to arrive. it did, so we scheduled for june 20th to get this 2nd fusebox installed. june 20th came, and we had to delay to friday the 21st. 21st came, and we had to delay to monday the 24th. 24th came, and we had to delay to the 25th. 25th came, and we had to delay to the 26th. 26th came, and we had to delay to the 27th. 27th came, and we had to delay to the 28th. 28th came, and we had to delay to monday the 1st. keep in mind that at this point, tony had become MUCH less responsive compared to when we started. most delays happened simply because he did not respond at all that day. if he did respond, it was to tell me that he had "one more person" ahead of me and that he should be able to get to me that day (and then he wouldn't say a word for the rest of the day) since monday the 1st (this whole week), he has been ghosting me. i've texted/called both his phone number & messenger a couple times a day. no response from either. i went to the point of checking his personal facebook to find that he was posting some stuff about the government using mosquitos to transport vaccines, so i knew he wasn't dead or something - hit on the head, maybe, but certainly not dead. this is all while he has my new fusebox that i apparently need & have already paid for. i had a different mobile mechanic come check out my fusebox (shout out to Alex Watkin's Mobile Mechanic for coming to check it out for free). come to find, anthony had cut the wires underneath the fusebox and connected them using heat shrink connectors, meaning they would have deteriorated or corroded in about 6 months. there were a few wires that weren't even connected with said connectors, they were just straight up loose. all in all, anthony has turned this from what could have been a simple problem to what could potentially be a very complicated, expensive problem. he has cost me a LOT of time and a LOT of money. i've never been screwed over so bad in my life. i HIGHLY discourage going with this dude for any car business. HIGHLY unprofessional and HIGHLY unreliable. TL;DR - anthony has seriously overcomplicated what could have been a relatively simple and inexpensive fix with my jeep & has cost me a LOT of time and money in the process (which hasn't ended; i am going to have to get more repairs with a different mechanic now). he has hit me with delay after delay after delay and is now at the point of ghosting me for days, & he still has a new part that i paid for. DO NOT GO WITH THIS GUY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE. he has really screwed me over big time.
