Early this morning around 9 AM on my way to work I was at the intersection of Van Ness Boulevard and imperial Highway. When the light turned green, there was a GLS truck in the left-hand turn lane that was headed northbound. When the light changed, the driver sped up and jumped in front of the traffic so that he could get in front of everyone else almost causing an accident. When I called GLS to report this information, the woman who answered the phone, who was possibly Filipino, was trying to rush me off the phone, she had not written down any information, and basically just lied when I ask her if she had all the information and if it was going to be reported. I did ask to speak to a manager, and she refused to put one on. When I continue to press her, the phone disconnected. When I called back, she picked up the phone, and hung it up again. I don't know who runs this company, but you ought to be extremely ashamed of yourself. I have never seen such a lack of care for the public allowing reckless drivers to operate your vehicles. I wanted to add to my review. For anyone else... On Friday afternoon I learned that a package I thought was being delivered via mail was actually being delivered via GLS. I live in an HOA and my streets were being paved (Amazon still delivered in the morning for perspective) I called the 800 number and waited on old for more than 30 minutes like everyone else shared. I finally spoke to someone and just wanted to make sure the driver would contact me if they had issues getting through the street. She couldn't get a hold of anyone and gave me a number to the depot. I was calling. All the while i walked over to my mailbox and saw an angry person in a gray van go down a street get frustrated and turn around and sped off. I live in New construction so this could have been a worker. My intuition was for some reason that was the delivery driver. So I went through all the hassles others described. I even emailed them immediately when they said my package could not be delivered because there was no attempt. The only vehicle I saw was the unmarked gray utility van. In any case I didn't get my delivery which was a prescription, not Friday, or Saturday when they promised or Monday during the 8-12 window that was posted. I had to go through the hassle of calling the doctor, getting another prescription and it was hell. Last night I finally went and picked up the prescription directly from the pharmacy. After urging them to never use this service again. So last night the pharmacy called GLS and had it scheduled for return to shipper. Nonetheless this morning I was taking out the trash and low and behold there was the gray utility van with a confused and irritated driver. GLS had the address and cell number of the recipient and after 2 weeks of driving by and seeing the gate closed and NOT contacting the recipient one time, they returned the package to the warehouse I ordered from. I ordered something online and GLS was the shipping partner, they delivered my package to the wrong address despite my house numbers being extremely clear and largely printed on the front of my home. Customer service is unreachable, I was only able to speak to someone after filing a complaint on BBB and still they are slower than the Passport Agency. They refuse to do anything about my lost package and simply continue to deny as they are not concerned about their customers. They claim that geo-coordinates are set correctly however a quick google street view says otherwise compared to the address provided in the delivery photo. Their courier left my package in the middle of the floor in a public lobby of my apartment complex where it was stolen before I even got the notification it was delivered. Emailing them they told me there was nothing they could do and directed me to the seller, who had nothing at all to do with their negligence. Okay, I add my voice to the other ones who would rate GLS a zero if possible. I have to sign for my stupid delivery. It's been rescheduled three times because GLS is incapable of giving updated information which tells you whether or not the package is at a local facility or if it's still in never, never land on its way. I've been sitting home three days waiting for something that may or may not arrive and probably will end up rescheduled midday. And there's no such thing as a free GLS account to try to find the information I need because for some reason, they require a credit card to create a "free" account. After reading reviews, I realize the average person is dealing with the exact same perpetual rescheduled events that I am facing. They attempted a delivery one night at 10:36 PM. I contacted their Customer Support the next morning to have my package possibly delivered at a more reasonable time. Their customer support representative told me they would get a message to the driver to deliver it between the hours of 4 pm and 8 pm the same day. It didn't happen. I signed for the package around 10:50 pm. I asked the driver if they had received the message about delivering it earlier and he said no one contacted him. When I called Shield Healthcare to voice my disappointment with the company they used to deliver medical supplies I was told that it is acceptable practice for deliveries to be tossed over the fence but that she would place a note in my file to request my medical supplies which I paid $150.00 dollars for to be delivered to my door in the rain. The fact that a person had to be asked to place a delivery out of the rain is amazing. I called GLS to voice my displeasure with their delivery practice, but no one answered the phones. I was told by the associate at Shield that the delivery was posted as delivered by 11:56 a.m. on 12/20/23. So, on top of the bad service the delivery person lied about the time of delivery, or they delivered my supplies at midnight and my medical supplies were left in the elements from midnight to 7 am the next day. She insisted that the time given by the delivery person was correct and the problem was with me. She also told me it was an acceptable practice for the item to be tossed over the fence. GLS is the delivery company. I called to place a complaint, but no one ever answered the line, so I hung up. She did say she would put a note for the person to bring my packages to my covered porch. Our house is on a hill behind a security gate, but we can see the street below clearly, and it's also close enough to be within earshot. So GLS delivery dude pulls up and parks on the side of the street (rather than trying to buzz in or call in at the security gate), and we see him get out with our package and walk towards our side gate at the bottom of the hill. This happens once in a while, no big deal, so my wife goes out to the balcony to get GLS delivery dude's attention. She succeeds, and asks him (in a very friendly manner) if he can drive through the security gate to bring the package to our front door. He looks her square in the face for several seconds, and without a word just leaves our package on the ground in front of our side gate. Then he turns around, gets into his van, and leaves. It's one thing if GLS delivery dude responded and said it was against company policy (which I can't imagine it would be at all) to grant my wife's request, but for him to just ignore her without a shred of acknowledgement is just downright disrespectful and unprofessional. I sent a note with this feedback through GLS' website, but somewhat ironically, don't expect to get a response at all. A single bad experience with a delivery dude doesn't usually indicate a crappy company, so take this review with a grain of salt, and peruse the plethora of other 1* reviews for yourself. read more

She also stated she had updated the tracking and that someone would call me to confirm. As she didn't take my phone number, I think we can all safely assume no one will be calling me. Or delivering my package. I asked her for the name of the person I spoke with before (the one who hung up on me) so I can make a formal complaint. She replied with "Would you rather your call be answered by a human or a machine?" First of all, not an appropriate response, although at this point, exactly the level of service I was expecting, so well done with being consistently awful. I advised her that if I was going to be treated the way I was by the previous representative, I would rather speak with a machine. She then gave me a charming lecture about how difficult her job is, and now people are awful. I advised her that I would be making a formal complaint about her service and treatment of me, further dooming my box to being rerouted to Nairobi (although, we all know I will never receive this box, I've moved on from any attempt to actually get the item.) I did tell her that I would be complaining about her. In a surprise to absolutely no one, she said that was just fine, that she was going to be replaced by a machine anyway, and that she gets complaints all of the time. Shocker. I mean, aren't you stunned that I was treated this rudely? No? Yeah, me neither. If you are interested in looking into this further, the tracking number for this order is (redacted) However, based on the treatment I received from your representatives, I doubt complaints concern your company. If I could give it zero stars I would This company is absolutely horrible They marked my package as "incorrect address" when the address was correct! then when I called and scheduled a redelivery they never even attempted to deliver after I waited all day for it.. GLS gave me a fake address that didn't exist to go pick up my package. The customer service agent told me to "wait on a phone call from GLS before going" which is weird.. and of course i never received a call. I drove 30 miles to the address the agent gave me and it didn't exist. I was also given two numbers to call, both of which were out of service. A terrible experience all around with GLS. read more

Regretfully I need to share this 1-star rating because I received a horrible customer service attitude. My package is on the way, but given the time of the day I don't expect to receive it today. Just to confirm this hypotheses, I called the customer service to know more details about the delivery. I was answered in a robotic-tone that it says "out for delivery" and didn't have more information. I insisted in a very friendly way if they got more info.. and received the same answer. I must say, this shows the zero empathy of customer service. Please get better people. read more
