Never get anything delivered or shipped through them. They somehow employ some of the most incompetent drivers to exist out there. One I just had to deal with didn't know how to use a doorbell(and I yes I check that it works and its loud as heck) or what a human being would look like through a SEE-THROUGH sliding door and ran off with my package that required a signature. Now for the sake of not dealing with their incompetent drivers, I put a request to pick up at their warehouse instead. Here I am having to deal with a 30 minute drive because a delivery service doesn't how to deliver. Look elsewhere if you're gonna ship through them, otherwise you'll have angry customers. And if you're buying anything that delivers through them, put in a request to use a different service or cancel your order altogether ASAP. read more

After waiting at home all day for delivery I was informed it will be delivered on the 6th. Very poor service. would leave a zero if that was an option. Ever since GLS took over GSO the service has been down hill. Prepared an important envelop with legal documents that had to be delivered today. First they did not show up for the scheduled pick up so I had to take it to their drop box to make sure it was shipped. Then today they were to deliver it before noon. At 3:37pm I received a text that the delivery failed for due to "Security Gate." There is NO SECURITY GATE and the recipient waited all day for the envelop. I called GLS customer service number at 3:45pm to ask them to take it to the right location and I was put on forever recorded commercial message (I stayed on hold for over an hour). I attempted to use the online chat system and it said they were closed at 4:00pm - I do not believe my firm can ever use GLS again as they are unreliable - will have to rely on FedEx read more

GLS delivers for Apria. Apria processed an order for me recently that I did not receive. I check the delivery history and found out that the driver made 3 attempts to deliver but "could not" because of the security gate in our neighborhood. Note that this gate has a call box to contact the residents who can open the gate for the deliverer. The GLS driver never made an attempt to contact me via the call box or via my cell phone number, he/she just turned around and left. It's either because he/she is ignorant or lazy. In the meantime, I still don't have my medical supplies. Apria is having a difficult time re-processing my order because they say the order was never returned to them. I should note that we get a lot of deliveries from other companies (Amazon, FedEx, UPS, etc.) and not a single one of them has ever had difficulty making a delivery - they are all competent enough to know how to use a call box at a gate. Maybe GLS gets the rejects from those companies, I don't know. But for a medical supplier like Apria, it's imperative that they select a delivery company that always makes the delivery - their customers depend on it - and GLS is not that delivery company. P.S. GLS also should have contacted me directly after failing to make the first delivery. My phone number is on the packing slip. They never made the attempt. Talk about lousy customer service! read more

Company loads up your packages and just drive with them for 3-4 days . They tracking gives you a 30 minute delivery window and 3 days in a row get updates that delivery attempt 7-8 hours later. Wow...just wow... I am disabled and in a wheelchair. I rely heavily.on deliveries for most all of my things. I ordered from a place who uses GLS and paid extra to have expedited shipping. I call on Friday to GLS to get.a time window for Saturdays delivery. Was on hold 40 minutes. Decide to use their "convenient" chat. Joke. Never gets you to a rep. Call back. An hour and I get someone who doesn't speak English well at all. I get no information. Saturday comes. It's 1240 pm and I get a notification that my package will be redelivered on Monday because the driver attempted nobody was home. Funny. I'm homebound! Review cameras. Nothing. Service animal Never alerted. I call. Takes almost an hour and half to get through. Told basically sorry about your luck. Rep says someone from the operations team will call me back within 2 hours. 2 hours later no call from them so I call back. Another hour on hold and the rep that finally answers tells me sorry can't help you. I need to wait for operations to call me. I ask that she transfers me to operations. She does with hesitation. A gal answered. She sounded clueless. She answered by say only yes...what business says yes when the answer? She proceeds to tell me she's in the warehouse which is closed but asks me.to explain the situation and she would help me. I do. She says let me put you on hold and I'll call the drivers supervisor. Spend a bit on hold and she tells me the driver will redeliver between 4 and 6. Assures me this will happen. Tells me if.it doesn't happen just call before 7pm. I sat on the porch for over 2 hours. At 610 called back. They are closed. Complete LIARS! This company should not be in business and should be sued. read more

Worst delivery service ever! I really wish our wine and whiskey clubs didn't use GSO for their deliveries so much so that we would pay extra to ship via FedEx or UPS. Our first experience was horrible. They attempted delivery while we weren't home and couldn't get our signature, which is fine and we understand that someone over 21 needs to sign for alcohol. They left a tag on our door saying they'd attempt delivery the next day. My husband was off work and stayed home the entire day so he wouldn't miss the delivery. It never came. I called to find out why they didn't come and they said the driver attempted delivery and no one was home. I told them my husband was home all day and no one came to the door. He straight out lied about being there. I then arranged a delivery time for the next day, between 8 and 12. I made sure I didn't leave the house and opened our front windows so I could hear the delivery man. 12pm came and passed. I called and they said they would call the driver and let me know when he would be by. Several hours later they called and said he'd be there by 8pm. I had plans and I wasn't going to wait 12 hours that day for the delivery so I asked them to hold it at their facility so I could just pick it up. Then comes our second delivery yesterday. We got a notification that they attempted delivery but no one was home. I called and asked if we could come pick it up today. The representative said we would get a phone call letting us know when the package arrived back at the facility. They called and said to pick it up between 8 and 3. We arrived around 9:40am. The guy working there couldn't find it. We overheard him calling the driver to see if he put it in his truck, which he didn't. Then he had to go looking for it in the back. 15 minutes later he came with our package. We seriously have had the worst experience with this company just like almost everyone else who has reviewed it. Total waste of time. read more

DO NOT deal with any company who uses GLS to ship. They gave me a delivery date for today, which required signature, so I waited all day for it to arrive. At the end of the day, they proceeded to reschedule my delivery after all that waiting without even contacting me. When I called them, they couldn't even tell me why or where my package was located. Customer service is completely indifferent and pretty useless. You're left to fend for yourself if something goes wrong. Too bad my store needed to use this shipping company, i was thrilled to know that my package is coming the next day but sadly they missed it even tho i provided added information like my gate code. I wasn't notified even tho i enrolled on their email and text notification and i dont thin k the driver followed instructions like putting the gate code, because i would know i personally answer the gate calls on my phone and that they I didn't receive anything. There is NO number to call in the US to complain about GLS delivery drivers who leave my packages on the outside of my property where they can be STOLEN. WORST DELIVERY COMPANY IN THE STATE. first the driver lied about not being able to deliver because the gate was closed. we have him on camera just driving in and out with zero attempts. Waited on hold for an hour with customer service. Was lied to about the driver coming back. When he did not show by 4 I did a chat on line and was basically told too bad so sad we don't care. I even offered to drive to the warehouse myself and pick it up and was told no. The food will be spoiled, and they could care less. I had two major problems with GLS this week.   In both instances, I asked to speak with a supervisor.   In both instances, I was told there were none available, but that an email would be sent explaining my problem, and they promised a supervisor would call back. IN both instances, i have yet to receive a phone call. In the first instance, the driver refused to follow the agreed upon drop off time.  The first day, he was to deliver it after 5:30.  He showed up at 5:25, I talked to him through my Ring and told him we'd be home within 5-10 minutes.  He refused to wait or come back.  The next day, we was to deliver it after 5:45.  He showed up at 4:10. The second instance on Friday was much more problematic.  The woman I was speaking with started to yell at me, telling me THRE times I didn't know what I was talking about.  She then said to me, "There are other deliveries that are much more important than your package, things like cancer medications".  When I asked for her name or id number, she refused to give it to me.  Supposedly, she was to set up a delivery for yesterday (Saturday)--for some reason it never came.  The tracking number on this delivery was 556105234 in case you can look up the woman who insulted me so badly. Initially my order came earlier than I was orginally told, this order required signature and no one was home. I called the number indicated by the slip left within 2 hours, after waiting for a representative for about 30 minutes I was told they would redelivery the order by the next day, this never happened. After calling every day after it appeared the package was sent to the neighboring state. I called every day and was assured the following day I would have my package, please note the wait times were extremely long to talk to someone or live chat. About a week later the representative told me that they now consider my package "lost within the system." I was told that I need to contact the seller; the seller now states GLS is at fault and GLS the other way around. Thanks for nothing... Driver left a Delivery Attempt slip... completely blank. Signed the back for them to drop off the package.. next day, another Delivery Attempt slip, again completely blank. Signed that one and left both out. On the third attempt, no slip was left and the driver marked it as the "recipient is no longer at the address". Whatever money you may be saving with that business to use this company as their shipper is going to be a nightmare. I have had horrible dealings with them from their inception. Every once in a while I use companies that claim its USPS/FedEx/UPS, but then they switch it up and go with this god awful company. Its like the deliberately hire people who cant read, don't have common sense, and are unable to navigate. I have never had a package arrive on time. Always late because the driver cant use the callbox at my complex gate, or cant read once inside cause each building is clearly labelled. Its just an all around headache. Probably the worst shipping company to have to deal with. I ordered a very expensive and limited edition item from Microsoft and thanks to GLS it is now lost or possibly stolen. Shame on Microsoft for using such a crappy shipping service, but still. My package was scheduled for delivery on Friday, Christmas Eve, but I wanted to pick it up at a local hub instead which they said they could do that same day and I would receive a call. Day goes by and no call, so they told me the following Monday I can go pick it up so I waited until Monday and when I called them to see if it was ready they told me it was now missing. When I checked the tracking for my package it said it was scanned in the system at the Ontario,CA delivery depot, so I was not sure how it was lost when it was scanned in. I even went to the pickup location to see if it was there and nothing. Online customer service is a complete joke as well as calling the customer service number. Nobody helps and instead will just refer you to the shipper and tell them to handle it. My item was limited edition and cannot be replaced and it pisses me off that I lose out on being able to get what I paid for because GLS cannot do their job. GLS will continue to put you in a circle and not do a damn thing and they will not contact you back about any problems you have about your package. I would suggest looking into what carrier any online store uses and stay away from anything that uses GLS or try to find an alternative. I am confident someone at the warehouse probably saw what was inside of my package and stole it because it was clearly scanned at the warehouse and GLS will still not do any kind of investigation. Completely worthless delivery service. Oh and to top it all off, when I asked customer service how can it not be at the warehouse when it was scanned in, they gave me some bullcrap excuse that "It was not a real scan and was instead conputer generated automatically." I couldn't understand this because all other services like UPS, USPS, Amazon, FedEx all are able to get through the gate. Then I decided to go to the GLS facility to pick it up on Saturday. I went there and they couldn't find my package. They told me it was likely still on the truck and they assured me it would be delivered the next business day. So I waited for delivery several days. GLS: Good Luck, Suckers! This company exists to deliver packages to the correct address in the time frame paid for. They are utterly unable to accomplish this, even with help from their customers. GLS took SIX days to deliver an urgent, overnight package. Every day, they lied to me, telling me it would arrive between 8am and 8pm. So I spent my vacation at the entrance of the inn where I was staying (signature required). Every day. From 8am to 8pm. I kept telling them the package hadn't left CA, and that I was in AZ. They assured me it would arrive. I didn't go anywhere, just in case. I asked them repeatedly to call Santa Fe Springs so they could ask for my package to be transferred to a truck to AZ. They said they can't do that. They said the problem was that my package was crossing state lines. This is a LOGISTICS company. They told me someone would track my package, and would call me with the results. No one called. I remained at the entrance of the inn. I asked to speak to a manager. They said they would have a manager call me. No one called. I remained at the entrance of the inn. I called, over and over. I was on hold for 52 minutes, 37 minutes, over an hour. Only to be lied to. Over and over. Finally, I was transferred to a "lead". She told me my package was mis-sorted. No kidding. She told me I could leave the inn because the package wouldn't arrive until after noon. I stayed just in case. The package arrived at 11am. This was the most important delivery of my life. These people ruined my vacation. The only person who cares about your delivery is you. This is by far the worst parcel company that lacks honest values and hires the worst possible staff. I ordered a pricey hair styler from Dyson, paid for express overnight shipping. I receive a tracking number from a company called GLS and that it was en route the day expected. There was an interception "road closed" and since it was the day before New Years Eve, I just let it slide. Days go by, no attempts at re-delivery. I find it weird so I research GLS and find tons of claims of how packages are reported "lost". Nervous, I chat with an agent at GLS asking for an update. They said someone will call, I wait 2 days. I chat them again asking how I can ensure the delivery man can get into my building so I don't have to deal with the back and forth, they said operations team will call, no calls at all. I chat them the 3rd day asking for an update now that my package is 7 days late, AGENT ADMITTED TO IT BEING LOST FOR 4 DAYS but they said it was scanned that morning so it should be en route the following day. I ask what the time frame was or if it's guaranteed to come that day and if I can receive a call from the delivery man prior and no solid answer from agent. I notice the next day there's another interception in the same area (mind you the listed location is 40 miles from where I live) the first "road closure" happened except driver claimed there was a gate code. I have no gate at my complex and the leasing office could have let them in. I talk to Dyson about all of this and they can't get ahold of GLS. I just asked to be sent a new one through UPS or FedEx however Dyson cannot make it happen because it is a sold out item. Upset, I decided to chat GLS one more time and just ask if I can pick it up from a location. I was astonished to see that I wasn't given the option and the agent even ended the chat on me!! I don't know what kind of company this is but they lack customer service skills and if a GLS employee "lost" my package, just be upfront about it instead of lying about its whereabouts so I can file a claim through Dyson. Horrible, but it could get worse because I don't have my shipment yet. A simple delivery from Palm Desert to Palm Desert with perishables. The GLS-US automated system gave us delivery times for yesterday that kept shifting to later then later still in the day. We stayed home to receive shipment - and were home when we got a message that they could not deliver because no one home to sign for package. A lie. The company has my cell number because they sent their (bogus) updates to the phone. Tried to contact the company. Eventually routed to chat feature where "Angelique" could not seem to understand that company is misinformed, we were home. Despite my repeated requests, she only offered delivery today (Saturday) between 8AM and 5PM. We reluctantly agreed. Staying home to receive package. Turns out another lie from GLS-US. As day wore on, tried their package tracking feature. No notification to us, but now saying delivery is for Monday (which if on time is 4 days late). Trying to get in contact with company to arrange for picking up packages myself. Their chat feature turned off on web site, no one responding to the 800 number. There is no excuse for the non-communication and the deliberate falsehoods. I will advising the 3 companies I know who relied on GLS-US to terminate the relationship. read more
