The park consists of several boardwalks that allow you to walk over the creek and the marshlands that surround it, it's also adjacent to a more commercial boardwalk full of retail and restaurants as well as a marina where you can watch shrimp boats come in and feed the dolphins and pelicans their cast offs. I could have spent hours there just doing that! I love bird watching and the walkways out into the park are perfect for that. At the end of a few of them they also have covered pergolas/gazebo like structures with a bit of seating and shade if you want to park for a while and watch. This is also ground zero for a lot of fishing, so it may be a bit more crowded an other parts of the park but on a bright, sunny day it's the place you'll want to be.

We also did the entire disc golf course over two days. The first day we did 7 holes and the second day we did 11. We were all pretty much beginners so we definitely struggled a bit (so many trees). I had bought a disc set off Amazon and luckily they were bright colors because one person in our group kept losing theirs in the dead leaves. If you have to rent, I believe each disc is $5. It was fun but it does take awhile if you aren't great, like we were. I would definitely go again to see if I can get anywhere close to par (not likely). Still highly recommend this park. We are lucky to have it nearby.

I've been rafting and canoeing but first time in a kayak. It was much easier than I thought so I will definitely go again. Just $4 for 30 minutes. Super fun place for my 5 year old, he requests to go to this park specifically :) There are also tennis courts attached so bring your racquets. Parking is designated on the side, and free of course which is great. There's also a wooden seat around a big tree and a gazebo for parents to relax. Wonderful park! Take your kiddos!

There is a small gravel parking lot, two beaches, a dock that many fish off of or pull their boats up to before hitting the water. I will note there are sharks at this beach (well duh! You're probably thinking. But I tend to see more here in the shallows than I do at the main beaches.) speaking of sharks, this is a great spot to search for tiny shark teeth (and I do mean tiny!!) I love coming here to walk the dog or have a picnic. It's absolutely beautiful and a well kept spot for locals.

I'll add that I wanted to rent chair and umbrella. I did learn you have to do that prior to going down to the beach because they are not able to read cards. It wasn't too crowded on a Thursday afternoon 3pm. My grand had a great time. The pier is about 2.4 miles down the beach and you can see it from the park. Life guard is on duty till 6:30 and they leave chairs and umbrella till about sundown. You can remain however long . They are currently 15.$ chair and 25$ for the umbrella. We didn't get anything from the snack bar so not sure what they have or prices. Plenty of parking it seems at least at the time I went and it was $15 and I was told I could come and go with my receipt. There is a ramp for handicap accessibility . It was a very nice day trip.

Golf carts are welcomed on the local streets allowing for easy beach and eatery access especially if you don't have beach from accomodations. There are several public beach access points that do require paid parking in the near proximity. ***There is also free street parking if you dont mind the walk. There is also a state beach park on the south end of Folly thata really nice with showers, rest rooms, gift shop and etc. last best thing about Folly is they allow wind shades such as Shibumi. Go check out Folly, you won't be disappointed. I promise!
