I had applied for a home refi at large lender. When I received a phone call from Generation Lending's Logan I was impressed by his sincerity and good things to say about dealing with his company which is local. I was especially interested as the other company's reputation was for a slow process to close being overwhelmed by the volume of applications. I had a bigger need to close sooner and Logan promised me a much faster closing. He also discussed he worked with the loan processor, Lauren, at the next desk over so there were always two people available for help. I found this to be true and am impressed with how helpful and quickly they got back to me. With the other company, when I tried to contact the loan processor with a question I never heard back. I found it easy to back out of the other application with one exception. I called the Loan Officer I originally dealt with to cancel. I asked him if I needed to write a letter as follow-up and he told me he would take care of it. Well he never did and that caused me some minor issues that I was able to deal with. Everything that Logan committed to came through, great follow-up, answered all my questions and we closed in the time frame he had indicated they could meet. They both made the process relatively painless and smooth. I have done many refi's in the past and I think this was the best. You can put your trust in them and the company they represent. read more

We worked with Zack Neelands on refinancing our home mortgage. He was very professional in his approach to working with us. Since our refinancing wasn't straight forward many other companies won't even talk with us. Zack was able to provide a solution and worked to complete the refinance. Even when we had issues with Quicken Loans to complete our loan, Zack was on top of it. He even was available to answer questions, in the evening, when we were signing our closing documents. I am very diasappointed in this company. They use all the right phrases to bring you into the loan process, but unfortunately that is where the custmoer service falls apart. I provided all requested documents in less than 24 hours and never let an email/call go more than one business day without a response. There was something that needed clarification in my loan and I produced supporting documents immediatley and now it has been almost a week without an acknowledgment of my three emails and two calls. The interest rates are rapidly changing and I am just trying to find out if all my information is set to go for closing or if I have to start the process with another lender, but no response. I was told that they would like to keep me as a customer for life, this is a really poor way of convincing me of this. read more
