Mixed review for this clinic. This review is for a year back. Depending on whose on the phone, calling to make a appointment can either be great or bad. Sitting in the waiting room can take up to a hour even when you show up on your appointment time. Dr. Nguyen was a good doctor. He listened to my concerns, and tries to find the best treatment. But, there are times where he jumps to conclusions and diagnosed me with a illness that i have no history of. Had to get a second opinion. Not only will he diagnose you with non existent illness, but he will leave you with enormous amounts of anxiety after your visit. read more

This medical office commits medical billing fraud. I work for a dental office and I know how billing works. I went in for an annual check up. 3 weeks later I received a bill from quest diagnostics. They're asking me to pay for my blood test. I called the insurance, they said the doctor put extra codes aside from the annual check up. He billed the insurance for things that he didn't do nor discussed with me. This resulted in my insurance refusal to pay for my Blood work. I have had blood test done every year and this is the first time I've been billed by the lab. I called the doctor's office and wished to speak to the claim department. I wanted to speak to the doctor's wife who pretty much handles everything in the office. They took my number. I waited for 1 hour. No calls from them. I tried calling back. Every time I tried, I heard 1 dial tone and I was directed to voicemail right away. It seems that they have blocked my number. I will escalate this issue to the medical board. This kind of doctor does not have emphathy for their patients. They bill extra codes so they earn more money from the insurance without thinking about their patients. Dr. Steven is a good doctor... I don't know why these reviews tryna play him.. but I've been going to him for 3 years already!

When you walk in, there will be a clipboard with a sign in sheet, like most clinics you will have to sign in and wait to be called. The front desk people will be busy or doing something and not let you know what to do. There is no sign as to what you should do so it's very common to see people stand cluelessly in the front as to what to do. Solution: Make a sign that tells people what to do in vietnamese, english and spanish. The setting of the clinic is clean, kinda dull but works. Wait room is kinda small with all the chairs against a wall with a large open space in the middle. Out of the few times, I've had to sit on the floor twice but granted this was during peak appointment times. Solution: If possible, rearrange the furniture to create more space. Add white light that brightens the clinic, add some color for a less dull and more kid-friendly environment I usually wait for about 30-45min after arriving at my appointment time to be put into a room and wait about 10-15min for Dr.Tran to come in that room. You can see Dr.Tran rush into the clinic pretty often around his peak hours so I assume he is arriving late. Solution: N/A Dr.Tran is a nice doctor that tries to be friendly to create a more comfortable atmosphere. I had a few questions about my health that I tried to ask but was ignored to look at the main issues as to why I was in the clinic. From his demeanor, you can tell that he is trying to rush through patients. He'll do a great job diagnosing you with whatever that is wrong with you, it's just you'll probably have to be REALLY persistent with your questions so he doesn't just put you off to the side to move on to the next patient. Quality doctor, but like most family doctors, is always in a rush. Solution: Answer patient questions The clinic is right next to a pharmacy that they will refer you to if you need prescription drugs. I've been told a few times thatsome of the prescriptions written to me can only be found at the pharmacy next door. Not too sure about the legitimacy of this but I assume they're simply just trying to work in conjunction to refer customers. Staff is very nice. I was a new Patient to this Medical Clinic. Long story short Dr. Nguyen diagnosed me which what he thinks is an Autoimmune Disease. Instead of sending me to a specialist he gave me 6 different medicines and is trying to figure this out on his own. The Medication came out to $116 and if your in a budget he only gives you enough meds for a couple days so you can come back pay for another appointment and get more meds. This Dr was bad from the start...went in on a Friday filled out paper work wait and was told the Dr wasn't seeing patient and the clinic was close the next day but a second location would be open. So I set a 10am appt paperwork and everything done already. I arrive the next day at second location for appt waited and hour to be seen when I spoke to the doctor he was very rude rushing me through the questions telling me he had other patients and he was busy. I was only there for a physical. I felt very uncomfortable and dismissed. But the worst part was that he wouldn't fill out my physical form which was the whole reason I was there. He told me to come back on Monday to get paperwork and he said that I need bloodwork done because my thyroid was swollen...but little did he know was that I just had blood work done less that 3months ago and everything was fine. I think he is a scammer and a dishonest medical doctor. His staff are rude and speak to like you don't have a say in you own healthcare. Needless to say this Dr is bad his staff is the worst. I been sick with fever and sore throat since late Tuesday and I am the type of person to never go to the doctor or clinic. Anyways, Saturday morning I woke up in sweat my body burning in flames, two pink eyes full of discharges and I told my boyfriend "let's go this is getting serious" so we came here because it said it opened the earliest at 7:30 a.m. well I called at 7:30 on the dot to find out how much was the consultation visit and no answer. So, we drove up there and got there about 7:45 ish... people were already waiting outside and I could see a lady in scrubs grabbing some things from her trunk and it turns out she was barely opening the clinic. Went in and singed my name on a clipboard. Anyways got called after waiting maybe 30 minutes. I was refused medical attention because I did not have my state ID and because I was paying cash! Are you serious? Not only was this old blonde hair staff rude to me, I know she could see the sweat dripping down my forehead and my two pink eyes that looked like they were bathe in blood. To be honest what bothered me the most is the fact that we are in an epidemic time and this is how they treat you just because you have no ID! I literally felt like I was dying and I know it was visible to her. So we had no choice but to go back home. In a time like this your policy should not matter. Think about it. If I have this virus, you just denied service to a patient that could easily spread it and that's saying that it didn't spread just my 30 minutes in there or the pen I used to sign on the clipboard. My father and I went to the doctor today just asking for a referral for PT "Physical Therapy" we came here many times this year to ask for a referral. But the response are "no, insurance isn't going to cover... or no, it's time consuming and will not work." I went here with my father multiple times and was rejected multiple time with these excuses.He prescribe my father medication that doesn't work with his knee pain. The worst doctor I've ever been to. All he cares about is the money. I've came here for annual check ups with certain issues and he asks a couple questions and immediately just prescribes medication without doing tests for anything. He looks into my ear, says I have an ear infection. He listens to my breathing through the stethoscope and immediately I have a lung infection. Told him I have vaginal concerns and lists a couple symptoms and I immediately have a UTI and suggests an ultrasound be done, no tests done. Then he just prescribes me a bunch of antibiotics and other medication and doesn't explain what for and instructions to take the meds. He doesn't do the basic check up like most doctors do. He comes in asks questions, prescribes you a bunch of meds and leaves. He's a nice guy, but I don't trust him medically whatsoever. Very careless doctor.
