When we returned for our design presentation, the inspiration board bore little resemblance to what had been discussed during the site visit. The concepts felt generic--more hotel-lobby than custom home--and lacked the creativity and forward-thinking design we were expecting. Compounding our concerns, project estimates escalated significantly after our initial retainer was paid. Ultimately, we felt fortunate to recover 50% of our deposit, but the overall experience left us disappointed. Their showroom is impressive, but in our experience, the design execution and contract structure did not match that polish. There are many talented designers on the Space Coast--my advice would be to work with someone who is genuinely invested in your vision rather than steering you toward off-the-shelf selections simply to secure a contract. After waiting several days, we were told they couldn't find the part, had never heard of our unit brand (iAire), and to contact the manufacturer. When I called iAire, they immediately confirmed the sensor is not proprietary and that generic replacements are compatible. These are cheap and widely available online. Ranger told us they were not comfortable working on our unit and that we would need to find someone else. I'm frustrated that this was not communicated upfront, especially after we waited days in the Florida heat for answers. If the company is unwilling to service smaller brands or use generic parts, they should have told us during the initial visit instead of leaving us in limbo. When I tried to express any dissatisfaction with the situation, their phone rep repeatedly interrupted and talked over me, and I could barely get a sentence out. When I spoke with my fiancé later, he told me he had been treated the same way. I'm not happy with the poor communication, lack of service, and unwillingness to listen. They took our money and dropped us, gave us a headache, and now we will have to pay someone else to come and fix the issue. This was really poor customer service. They justified this by blaming everything on our "cheap, offbrand" unit and have made no attempt to make things right with us. They have not stood behind their own values. You can see from their responses to upset reviewers that they do not take ownership when they let their customers down and find any way to shift the responsibility for their mistakes. Shameful. We will be filing a complaint with the BBB.
