I'm a pharmacist I know).They don't bathe her like they should or make her brush her teeth and keep giving her sugar and crap instead of nutritious meals.Wonder why she eats like a horse when I go to visit her.Quit sitting on your asses and do your job or find another.What the hell is this company hiring? Training..... appears non-existent.This is Synergy Wisconsin to be clear Waushara county.Its bad when you know the other caretakers are commenting on the shitty ones your parent is paired with.Get it together or get a lawsuit.Certain caretakers should be paid less,Than the superior ones.Do your job ! And yes, the patient was difficult. But the supervisor was always out sick when I would ask for advice from her. And they would always tell me that there was no one else in the company that I could talk to about the difficult patient. In the end, the patient accused me of stealing from her, and the company took the patient's side. But the police took my side, fortunately.

We couldn't have done it without help from Sisters Care!…read more Our mother broke her ankle and needed inpatient rehab after the surgery to repair it. She is also in stage 5 Alzheimer's dementia and had a very bad reaction to the anesthesia used during the surgery; a very common side effect for those with dementia. Family members and friends were by her side all day and evening, but we didn't have anyone who could be there at night. Mom was having extremely vivid nightmares and would be very upset when she woke up in the middle of the night disoriented and feeling an urgent need to get out of bed and run away! Sisters Care from The Village at Incarnate Word provided the overnight coverage for us. The "angels" who helped Mom were able to reorient and help her to calm down so she could go back to sleep. They also kept her from walking on her broken ankle before it was sufficiently healed. I wish I could mention each of our caregivers directly.... En Su Casa has been a life-saver for my parents, one of whom is 75-years-old and has limited…read moremobility, and the other is 80-years-old. The En-Su-Casa caregiver has worked with my parents for nearly two years. She has helped keep my parents' home clean and prepares nutritious meals for them as well. She also accompanies my parents to doctor's appointments and errands. And she only is with them a total of about 20 hours a week! The caregiver isn't the only great thing about En Su Casa. The staff is professional, resourceful, and communicative. At the onset of our working with them, they provided us all of the information that we needed to be able to choose them among other service provides. And since then, they are always available to us, especially during emergencies. Because of En Su Casa, my parents have been able to stay in their home and not go into an assisted living facility. Though, when it is time for that transition, I trust En Su Casa to provide me with counsel. The staff know the business, and I trust them. I'll add that it took a few caregivers to find the right fit--a total of three--but even those individuals who ended up not staying with my parents acted in a professional manner. From allowing us to do pay-ahead billing to greeting us by name on each and every visit, Forte was fabulous. A few additional items of note. First, unlike most clinics that have a small window overlooking a parking lot, Forte has huge picture windows overlooking a beautiful golf course. Outside the windows you'll see squirrels and birds such as hummingbirds and even brilliantly red cardinals. You might even see a few duffers hacking away and tearing up the turf. Second, parking is easy and plentiful - we never had an issue finding a space right up front. One other thing to mention - their hours. Forte has, at least in my experience, rather late hours. My wife had a couple of appointments where she didn't leave until 5:30PM. The entire staff is amazing. Thank you Sonja for being kind and compassionate to my wife's needs not to mention your patience in dealing with her language barrier issues. Rachel, you often checked in and seemed genuinely interested in my wife's progress. We appreciate that greatly. Diana, the PTA, was also a pleasure to work with and always had kind words of encouragement. Lastly, Grace, sorry for breaking the credit card machine... But seriously, thank you for your kind and courteous nature and in dealing with our insurance issues. You explained things to us which made the process easier to tolerate. In closing, Forte Rehabilitation Clinic has an amazing staff, a beautiful view looking out over a golf course and plenty of parking. In the end we left Vitas due to lack of empathy, not working with the family, and excessive out-of-pocket costs.

Since my father served in the Army they offered to play Taps and honored his service with plaque and U.S. Flag pin given to my mother. When the funeral home came to transfer my father they draped him with a U.S. Flag and everyone in the hallway paid their respects while Taps played and fellow Vets were saluting and others with their head bowed as they escorted him to the funeral home. Thank you for making us feel so special and important for the short time we were there.
