I did my application online and had to come her to finalize the process and have my picture taken. It was fairly easy to find. It's a little rough when you do find it it but it's not terrible. Once I was inside, I had to sign and provide my identification. I was guided to a waiting area that is comprised of folding banquet chairs. Not the most comfy setup, but I wasn't there long when I was called. The whole process was less than 10 minutes from beginning to end, and I was out of there. I definitely recommend this location. I gave them a draft copy of a business card I designed myself and was told they could design a card very similar to mine. They had a little trouble with their computer software getting the circumference accurate on my circular logo, but eventually they worked it out. Also since they didn't have a brownish/black font color I wanted, we settled for making the font a bolder dark brown. They showed me the final business card design on their computer and it looked perfect. I gave them my approval to print the 500 cards. Being that I've done business before with Elmwood Print Out some years back and was very pleased with their work, I paid them in advance. BIG MISTAKE! When I got my business cards, the logo was oval and the typeset was too light and small to read without a magnifying glass. When I complained, they reminded me that I approved the draft shown on their computer. I, in turn, reminded them that they did a printout of what I saw on the computer and other than changing the typeset to a bolder font, it looked perfect. When I further complained that these cards are not the same as what was originally shown to me, the owner got belligerent and told me I'm being too picky and he's not going to reprint the cards because of some minor details. He told me that the circular logo wasn't that much off & that's the best they can do with the typeset in brown. He further had the audacity to tell me I'll just have to use up these 500 cards and he'll fix the logo and typeset when I place the next order. When I told him these cards are not acceptable, he stated "I'm not reprinting the cards and I'm not going to continue this conversation any further." He refused to deal with the matter any longer. It's obvious to me that Elmwood Print Out is contemptuous toward small independently-owned businesses who expect honorable work in exchange for their hard earned money. I can assure you, if I was a big company or large firm, he wouldn't be as condescending and inattentive to "minor details" and accuse me of being "too picky". In the future, I'll be taking my "little" business and spending my "little" money to more reputable transnational businesses. And I definitely wouldn't recommend Elmwood Printout to any of my colleagues or business acquaintances.

I had a fantastic experience with the Lockport East Ave. post office back in early June. I had a…read morepackage of custom party decorations that was shipped late by an Etsy seller (despite my daily emails asking when it was going to ship and to confirm it would arrive in time) and it was iffy to make it in time for my son's 1st birthday party on Saturday. I called the post office Friday morning and spoke with Seth, the Post Master, and he was super helpful and said I can request the package be held as soon as I saw it was in Lockport. I tracked the package and called as soon as I saw it was at the Lockport station, they found the item and held it for me to pick up the morning of my son's birthday party. I went as soon as they opened the next Saturday morning and discovered the wrong package was held and now the package I needed was now out for delivery. Frantic, I called Seth and he discovered my package was going to be delivered by 5 pm...after the party. He asked me to give him a few minutes and he'd call me back. Within 5 minutes, Seth called me back and said his boss, Kaitlin, was going to get the package off the truck and deliver it for us and that she was going to call me to let me know when it was dropped off. In a matter of 30 minutes, the package was on my porch and Kaitlin called to confirm. These two did not have to do all of this for me, especially considering this wasn't USPS's fault, but they went above and beyond and were able to help make my son's 1st birthday party exactly as we wanted. I am so appreciative of Seth and Kaitlin and their excellent customer service. Thank you Seth & Kaitlin!!

So I found this company on Craigslist, and was a little unsure because you hear a lot of horror…read morestories about craigslist companies, but I was looking for more quotes and called. The owner Don, came to my appartment to do the walkthrough and quoted me for 4 guys and eight hours. My move was a little more complicated than most as there were 3 separate places to load up and a real trick and steep stairwell with a lot of big furniture. I was in the Army living in Itay for 7 years so I collected a lot of large and heavy furniture and quite a few fragile trinkets. The crew showed up on time- no complaints there. I took them on a tour of what was needed and they started to work. After about 30 min though, they had to rework their plan after realizing just how trick this appartment was. I can't complain about that, because after they got it figured out, everything went smooth. They had one guy on the back of the truck who really knew how to load a moving truck. It was pretty impressive. Kinda like tetris. So they got the apt loaded up and the stoarge area loaded up (located in a warehouse behind the apt) and Don came out to check out progress. That made me feel good. The crew didn't break anything and showed me any thing that was damaged before they touched it, so I knew it wasn't casued by them. They even took apart some furniture and put it together perfectly later. After all that was loaded, we went to my brother's house to pick up just a few more large items and the crew went to have lunch. I will be honest and say I was a littler worried on time because we were at 5 hours by then (always takes longer to load than download) but once we got to my new house, everything went fast. I walked them through the place and as they got my stuff off the truck, I just told them where to put it and it was done. I did walkthroughs at all locations and there was no damage, I checked out all my furniture and the things I was sure would be most likely to break and no problems what so ever. They even got it done just shy of the 8 hours quoted. I hope I wont ever have to move again, but If I do, I would hire this crew again. The guys were hard workers, they were funny and most importantly- They moved all my belongings without breaking them. As far as price goes, Don even gave me a better quote than the next closest guy by almost $200 and then, He even gave me a discount for being a Veteran. I can't complain about that. Looking on this site, I see someone on this site had a negative experience, but I can't relate at all. Everything went textbook for my move and I had a hard one. I would say call these guys. I was impressed.
