You bring your own clubs (and golf balls), and the employees help you get set up with the simulator. It is a great way to practice, or try golfing for the first time. There are four simulators, and you need to make a reservation to play. It's about $45 to rent the simulator for an hour on the weekends, and you can split it between four people. The group of ladies I went with rented it for two hours of play, and it was just the right amount of time. Avid has a bar and grill as well, and high top tables behind the simulators to munch while you play. We ordered the loaded tater tots and a round of beers. I am glad I got to check this place out, and try something new. Avid is a great place to beat the winter blues if you want to get some swings in.

After just a few weeks I went from struggling in my Wednesday night league to looking forward to it every week to see how my practice was paying off. Still a member of PBG (Play Better Golf) and still enjoying it. HIGHLY recommend it if you're just beginning the game or are looking to take your game to another level.

Also didn't tried the food but the place smelled amazing and everything from the menu was reasonably priced. We only saw the bar menu which included mozarella sticks, wraps, among other finger foods. We were trying to go to the range but it's not opened yet so we decided to try their simulator. It was so much fun! Installations were new and very clean. On top of everything, our host gifted us two passes to golf when the season starts!
