Recommended to my son by the insurance company, but they must be friends because this place is horrible. My son's car has been at the shop for 5 weeks and they called today to say they're still ordering parts. Geneseo Collision has had my car for over a month to fix the front bumper and transmission cooler on my car. Today, December 4th, was the first time I received an update without having to call them myself. Today I was told they are making "great progress" on my car, which was followed with "the headlights, grill and front bumper are off of your car." Insurance company recommended this place, stating that are "good friends" of the adjuster, and "good people." DO NOT recommend this place unless you have an extra vehicle, or no need for a vehicle. Highly Recommend Geneseo Collision....they went above and beyond to help us out during a road trip through Western NY. My wife and I were staying at a BnB in Geneseo and after a nice dinner we were driving our Dodge Ram back when all of a sudden a deer darted our in front of us....there was nothing we could do and we slammed directly into the deer at 55mph ...hitting it hard enough to drive the bumper back into the left front wheel. We knew we couldn't continue driving our truck with the wheel rubbing against the crushed bumper. The next morning, we showed up a Geneseo Collision and asked for help to bend the bumper back into place away from the wheel ...they immediately went into action and were able to mechanically pull the bumper back into place...allowing us to continue our trip. When we asked how much we owed...they answered, "no charge"...."happy to help". Talk about customer service...this team truly demonstrated being the best of the best...we will be forever grateful! My car was rear ended and got towed to Geneseo Collision. They allowed me to come after hours to clean my car out which was super helpful. They also took my plates off for me and in the panic of getting rear ended I gave them my whole keychain and they took the other little keychains off and gave them to me when I picked my plates up. They paid attention to the small details to make such a terrible thing not so bad. Everyone I talked to there was super friendly and helpful. Overall a great experience! read more

My insurance chose this place for me when someone backed into my car. After waiting for my parts for 2 weeks I called and Paula had said my parts had been in they were just waiting for me to bring my car in!!! Now I'm sorry but my crystal ball was not working that day and I didn't know my parts were in! I set up an appointment and drop my car off. They had said 1/2 day work. I get a call at 10:30 that day saying she didn't realize how many parts were missing and they would need to keep my car overnight. They had called enterprise for me and my insurance...but without speaking to me! I had plans after work and didn't have time to run around rent a car switch 2 car seats to a rental just for one night when my car was in perfect driving condition. My husband called Paula for me since I didn't have time at work that day to be dealing with this bullshit. She gave him attitude (for her mistake!). But said I could take my car. I dropped my car off yet again the next day since all the parts were coming in. I left work that day at 4...my car had been there since 7am and it was still in the shop! . She said one part didn't come in and I'd have to come back...AGAIN!!! WTF. Paula said he'd be done with my car in 10 minutes. 40 minutes later of waiting i pull out with my car. Paula and her husband both said Paula would call when the last part came in a couple days. Another week goes by and I hadn't heard a thing. I called and Paula said she was ashamed to admit that the part had been in and she didn't call me. 7 weeks with a smashed car and mostly due to the stupidity of Geneseo Collision. I would suggest to NEVER take your car here...I know I won't make the mistake again. read more

The worst experience I have ever had with a service shop. I brought my 96' Honda Accord in on a Wednesday to simply have a side mirror put on my driver side door. I was told that the part would be in by Thursday and would have my car back by Friday. A couple days went by and I called the shop on Friday asking the status of my car. They said they would have it done by the end of the day. I drove by the shop about 15 minutes before they closed and my car had not been touched. I gave them another full day, and called Saturday afternoon, leaving a message about my car. It was not until Monday morning I finally got a call back saying that my car was done. When I went to pick it up, the lady at the desk gave me an attitude when I asked her why it took so long to get done. Then she charged me 180$ to simply replace the mirror. After paying and walking out to see the replacement, I found that the seal around the mirror had not been put on properly, as it is sticking out and the mirror itself was not put on properly. It does not adjust and shakes anytime I get over 60mph. I will never go to this shop again and am very disappointed that a small town shop has this poor of service :( read more
