My work had their Christmas party here; very sad. The space looked like an abandoned shoe store with dinner tables, the d.j. couldn't mix one song into the next, and the food was high quality...for a prison. It gets better. I can no longer drink alcohol, but still enjoy beer (0.0% alcohol). When we asked them to provide a "zero" alcohol beer, they responded with "it's not part of the package". We asked them to just pick up a 12 pack and add it to the cost of the party. They said, "we can't, but you can bring our own." Seriously!? I ended up walking into my works party, carrying my own beer, that I paid for myself. How irresponsible of this business to NOT offer a non-alcoholic option upon request, and then suggest the guests buy and bring their own beverages. This wasn't a pool party at a friends house (B.Y.O.B.); this was a party for employees, paid for by our company. They should be embarrassed. Even more than I was, bringing in my own beer. read more

Genesis Events Banquet Hall is an excellent place to hold a large scale event. I was invited to a little get together to see the place. They have great hors d'oervres. The rooms can handle a large crowd of party goers. They have a full bar and a nice dance floor. Genesis is very clean and nicely decorated. I would highly recommend it for your next big event. Parking is very easy with a huge number of spaces. The staff is very nice and efficient. read more

I have to be completely honest because I'm an honest person. DO NOT PUT DOWN ANY MORE MONEY THAN YOU CAN AFFORD TO LOSE! Should anything come up that would prevent you from having your event. Francis is a nice guy BUT, I gave him 1,500 down on mid June 2022, to lock my spot for 10.23.22, for my wedding reception. It turns out, my ex-fiancé, was a con and we broke up end of 6.2022, a couple of week of giving down payment for the genesis room, long story short, I went to see Francis the first week of July to letting him know that my wedding plans fell through. I would be ok with him keeping a few hundred dollars for the cancellation, HE KEPT my entire 1,500 dollars! The fact that they will tell you(you better lock it in before it's taken)... I was told, no one ever booked that date and that is why he is keeping my entire money. Money don't grow on trees, the right thing to do as a business, would be to at least give me some of my money back. So, again, DO NOT put down a large sum of money, just in case something like this happens to you! read more

These guys at genesis events are super awesome. They are very flexible with payments, professional and treated us like we were super stars. We had our reception in the gold room and they decorated it very well and all guests walked in saying "wow". We used their chef Daniel for catering and the food was very delightful. These people are money HUNGRY!! I would not suggest unless you are desperate and still, be careful, they are inconsistent with what they tell you initially. They told me I can rent the kitchen all day for 350.00 it's NOT TRUE and we looked at the kitchen, it had roaches and mouse droppings! Francis will suggest he knows an event planner, chef, and all that... they are connected together, and plot on a big profit. If you must rent the space, be sure to have your own planner if your not planning it yourself and have everything figured out and expect absolutely No REFUNDS no matter what!!! Came here for a Sweet 16 on a Friday night. The interior was big and decorated so elegantly. Food was served buffet style and all taste good from the potato salad to the pork, chicken, rice etc. Tables were set for a party of 100 ppl with ample space for a dance floor plus cake table, desserts, DJ booth, live band along with a bar. Parking on premise is available. Loved that this event was able to run till 1:00am. Employees roamed around consistently cleaning up and asking if all was fine or if we needed anything. Great overall service and for locals I definitely recommend this location. read more

This is an amazing place! I was planing a bat mitzvah party for my daughter with a tight budget. This place was recommended by my friend, and as soon as I spoke to the owner, mike, and Sheena, the coordinator, I knew I'm in good hands. They were so helpful and caring. They addressed all my concerns, and helped me with every single thing I needed, every time I called (even after hours). We had our event an the genesis room, which is so beautiful, elegant and affordable. The party was a huge succsess and was so impressive. The staff incharge during the event was amazing, and I have nothing but good things to say. Organizing such a party could have been very stressful, but it was a breeze from the moment I considered this place. Thank you so much to all of you for making my daughter so happy. I keep getting texts from my guests telling me how much fun they had, more importantly my daughter telling me she didn't think it would be so much fun. The owner's of Genesis Events Banquet Hall were nothing short of amazing. All the staff members went above and beyond to help us create our vision. I decided to host my engagement party with them and had to do the initial venue tour and payment virtually as I live out of state. My friend who went to visit the venue, had nothing but good interactions with the owner and staff. The entire process was just so easy and smooth. I was able to call them with all my questions and concerns as I began the planning process. The day before the event, I went into the venue for the first time and it was nice. I had selected the Gold Room and the gold accents allowed the decorating to be a bit more easy. Mike was able to help us get all the tables and chairs we needed, Francis and the owner actually came in to help with the placement of tables out of the kindness of their hearts. They did exceptionally well with my indecisiveness of table placement and never made me feel rushed. They also allowed us to store items for the party and even start decorating the day before the event. Their kindness and flexibility is what allowed us to pull off the event successfully. In the end, my engagement party was more than we could have ever imagined. We were able to create the perfect venue space, our guest absolutely enjoyed themselves, and it was truly a night that I will never forget. During the event, staff was available and they assisted us with our extra guest bringing out extra tables and chairs without any problems. Their customer service is impeccable. I would highly recommend this venue. In fact I plan to host my wedding reception here in the future should I decide to get married in South FL. read more

This place is amazing! The owners spared no expense in making sure this event space has everything you can possible want, need or desire to make your dream event come to life! There is a bar, DJ booth, dance floor, custom lighting, huge video screen, plush leather seating and plenty of tables and chairs to go around. The customer service is impeccable & the owners took the time to explain everything they had to offer and help me customize my event based on my needs and budget- they are so kind, patient and FLEXABLE during the whole process. They even offered to help make my digital slideshow go off without a hitch ( I am not computer savvy & I really have no idea how to do it) since it is such an important aspect to my surprise event. Thank you Genesis for making my husbands surprise 40th Birthday event a reality.
