I did not hear from them again until February of the next year when they came back to fix it and it still wasn't correct and then wanted to charge me $10,000 for the install had to call another glass company or two to get it fixed and both companies agreed that this project shouldn't have been over $5200 especially since it had no demolition of the wall. I had to pay another 1600 for that please be careful with Evan's glass company and the logo about bringing the cup and you bring the coffee I never was asked if I even wanted a cup with an invoice of $10,000!!!

We purchased two very expensive doors from them: a front storm door with sliding glass panels that open to a screen for fresh air, and a wrought iron security door. I was disappointed to discover that the security door requires a key to lock and unlock from both the inside and outside. While my husband may have ordered it that way, he is disabled and did not fully understand the safety implications. I tried explaining that this setup creates a serious concern for our family in the event of an emergency. Although I eventually accepted that situation, what happened next was even more disappointing. A part on our front screen door broke while it was still under warranty. What should have been a simple warranty repair turned into months of phone calls, office visits, and broken promises. Every time I called, I was told to speak with Bill. Later, I learned Bill only works on Fridays, yet I was repeatedly told he was "out of the office" or "at the bank." I never received clear communication or a sense that resolving my issue was a priority. I have over 20 years of customer service experience, and I know how important it is to keep your word. When customers spend their hard-earned money on premium products, they deserve prompt, respectful service after the sale. Instead, I felt like my warranty repair wasn't important because larger commercial accounts took priority. I explained that both of my children were coming home from the military and that our air conditioning had stopped working. I simply wanted the screen door repaired so we could let fresh air into our home. Despite explaining our circumstances several times, nothing seemed to move the process forward. As a business owner myself, I believe customer service doesn't end when the sale is complete. It's about treating people with respect, honoring your commitments, and standing behind the products you sell. Unfortunately, that was not my experience with Mid State Doors. The doors themselves may be quality products, but based on my experience, the after-sale customer service and warranty support have been extremely disappointing.

I guess he wasn't completely worthless. Two panes of glass had been shattered on my bottom bedroom window sill, and I brought in the entire piece to Russell's. It's definitely a small location where you just kinda walk into a couple offices to get help. I had everything with me, and the lady I spoke with measured everything and quoted me a price in about 5 minutes. She said they'd have the window back to me in about a week and that they'd call me when it was ready. 6 days later I get a call that it's ready for pick up. For $77 they replaced both panes of glass and put everything back together so I could simply slide it back into the gaping hole in my window and secure it in place. Voila! I had a great experience with Russell's. Everything was perfectly measured and fit back good as new. It's really nice to rely on great local businesses to help ease your mind and make life a bit easier after something as nerve racking as a break in. Also, love that they got it to me in less than a week! For something as important as a replacement window in a house when it's 3 degrees outside, that's pretty spectacular. Note: they are open 7:00am to 4:00pm, but give them a call; they often have people staying late if you need to go in for a pick up or drop off.

Brentwood Blinds has poor customer service and does not stand behind their product. After they cash…read moreyour check, they want another check or they will never return. My issue was with replacement of plastic pulls- I hope no one out there has an actual structural or mechanical issue with shades installed by Brentwood Blinds! This company installed blinds in our bedroom. I ordered, chose fabric, and they installed fabric roman blinds. The whole point was to make our bedroom dark (south and west exposure), because I can't sleep with light in the room, which of course I made clear to them The blinds are beautiful, and the installation process was fine, but there are gaps all the way around all the windows. I called to ask about it (they installed during the day...) and they told me it's unavoidable because of the size of the window and the fabric I chose. COULD THEY NOT HAVE TOLD ME THAT WHEN I WAS MAKING MY SELECTION??? But no, they didn't mention it before they installed, which IMO means they knew it would happen and didn't tell me, or were making excuses. *Note the gap at the top in the photo!! So I have had to live with the semi-darkened room even tough I paid for Hunter Douglas blackouts. Fast forward 2 years, and the pulls start breaking, so my husband calls to ask for replacement pulls since they are Hunter Douglas and under warranty. Yes, the pulls are free from Hunter Douglas, but you have to pay for a service call on your almost $5000.00 shades because Hunter Douglas supplies free replacements (we called and they sent them) but we need more cash. 3 stars for the fact that they did deliver HD blinds, which they didn't make, but the actual installation of the blinds they should have told me not to get was fine. In fact, going up and changing it to 2 because good installation is not enough. We all pay up for service! I can get Hunter Douglas at Home Depot! I think.... So, I now need blinds in my kitchen because there are new owners next door, and I will go with Classic Blinds, a well respected shop here in the Nashville area. BTW: when we called Hunter Douglas and told them we needed new pulls and our local dealer wanted to charge *well over* $100.00 (pushing 200$) for "coming out to take a look" before replacement, Hunter Douglas said that was ridiculous and sent us replacements direct.
