Weight?? I couldn't care less what my refundables weigh. I expect to get back every nickle and dime refundable DEPOSIT that I paid upon purchase, usually 5 cents or 10 cents per item. The cans and bottles are clearly marked regarding their CA refundable status. Those that are NOT marked with a CA redemption logo? Cool, and while I willingly pay the full price for container-items that do NOT qualify as refundable, I have no intention of overpaying for containers when I have a refund coming. I return them to a business that pays me what I already spent. Oh, wait, there are scavengers who patrol the streets and trash bins for "recyclables" to save for an Egg-McMuffin payday. That's preposterously inhumane, but way beyond my pay grade. There most assuredly is a better way, should our angelic powers-that-be care to find one.

This place seems a lot cleaner than other centers which is always nice. The only thing I'm not too crazy about is the parking situation, there's not a lot of it but you can always park in the adjacent lot and drag your recycling over I guess.

I was looking for an ewaste place to dispose of a vacuum battery and regular AA batteries…read more I called ahead and the guy told me they accept batteries as long as it is lithium batteries. There isn't really parking in the area but I managed to find street parking nearby. It is located near La Estrella restaurant. There is no office to walk into or a building. I passed by the backyard garage area and saw a man. I asked if he was with the company and he said yes and I showed him the batteries I had and he said he could take them. It was a relief to get them off my hands and to find a place that takes them and can dispose of it safely. I took pictures so others can hopefully find the place.

Estrada recycling is literally walking distance from me. Walking up the street and the place is okay. Plenty of parking and the attendant is nice. We chop it up all the time. I used to go to another one but they closed down by the swap met. I'm not sure if they are good for pricing but it's convenient to me. Can't say much about knowing the value but two bags worth got me 16 bucks today. They could work on the cleanliness of the area.
