When I told her the yr of my truck she shut down immediately saying it is just to old and has no book value. I explained a few quick points about this truck mostly that it's a very low mileage 2 owner truck with a nice complete paint job, rebuilt drive train incl new brake system. So she said she would come out and take a look which was more like a peek. I raised the hood to show her that the motor gets WAXED regularly and tried to show her the like new interior ( minus a 6" tear on seat) she didn't look for more than 60 seconds and when her cell phone rang she sprinted inside, with my paperwork in hand. She tossed my papers on the counter as she continued out of site on her obviously person phone call. Let me say I get that this type of business certainly has guidelines they must adhere to, I've read the repo rate is very high. I've turned down a real offer of 4k for this truck, yes there are $700 versions out there, but there are also 2 listed in Columbus over 10k and 4 more over 8k, same year make and model. I'm not emplying mine has that much value but it's worth and will bring $4500 ( it's NOT for sale). My point is she didn't even ask me what I was trying to do ($2-300) which certainly poses no risk for them, and her method of valuation which she said the HIGH book is $700 is ridiculous. I had to follow her back in the store, reach over the counter to retrieve my papers, and she was still on that call when I left. I don't know anything about this business but if they continue to run it the way I saw she is only going to need to be concerned about the value of HER car and no one else's. By the way, I decided not to take out a loan of this type as 324% annual interest should be against the law, but their competitor 2 blocks away offered me $1300 within 12 minutes of walking in their front door

I handed her my title and introduce myself because I worked in customer service for 15 years! That's generally what you do is introduce yourself but anyways. This lady never got out of her chair the second I handed her my title she said let me guess you're here for " buchu's of money" your car engine lights probably on, your interior is probably dirty, this was it within 30 seconds of meeting me !! she straight humiliated me! I said actually , no I'm not looking for this buchu's of money I'm only asking for $200 to help me get it until I can get my paycheck. After being humiliated ! I kind of cut her off and said just give me my title back in my paperwork.. I thanked her for her time. I would never in my life recommend going to this place! However I would recommend going down to the corner of Brice and Livingston to a young lady named Asia at LOAN MAXX!!!! I walk straight in with tears in my eyes telling her the way I was just treated less than 10 minutes ago...The difference is Asia at LOAN MAXX Actually got up out of her chair walked out to my car talk to me like I was human and guess what I walked out with $400! So take that !! I wish I knew that lady's name she was one the rudest person I have ever encountered 15 years of customer service! A little piece of advice maybe you should take her chair away from her and teach her how to be humble. People fall on hard times you're there to run a business !! People walk in your Store for a reason!

The online loan did not go smooth due to delays on their end, they also cut the amount I requested in half. I called them on the 3rd business day and they suggested we cancel that transaction and I go to their closest store, which was the east main location. When I walked in the blond lady greeted me immediately and asked how she could help me. I was the only customer at that time. She quickly checked the proofs I brought, fired up about 20 pages for me to sign, approved 25% more $ than the website, and had me walking out the door in less than 20 mins cash in hand. While I was signing there were several customers who came in, she knew every single one of them by name. If I owned a business and needed someone to make my customers know they made the right decision by coming to me this girl would be working beside me and getting paid what she is worth. She is certainly the best "retail" employee I have had the pleasure of doing business with in a very long time. She didn't waste a second of mine, yet didn't rush me which as a new customer I appreciated, these type loans are very expensive and I did compare rates between a few companies. This location also does car title loans. The only negative I ran into is that your payments must be made at that store and in person, no online available. I hope I don't have a need for this type of loan again but if I do and "The Blond" is still in charge I'll drive an hour to give them my business.

The bank specializes in these kinds of loans and told me they would handle everything. Almost three months into the loan and they still have not done any work to obtain the title. At best they ask vague questions just to the BMV just to make a note that they called. They literally told me they couldn't find the title and I told them numerous times what state the title was in. I ended up needing to file against them with the Ohio Attorney General's office per the BMV to get on an exception list so I can renew my tags. I was not added to the exception list and WPCU has neglected to submit the title paperwork to Ohio for me to get car plates. I had to make almost every single call to the BMV to find out next steps. I went to the BMV only to find out I was never added to the list so now I have a car that I cannot get tags for or plates because WPCU has neglected to file the necessary paperwork when they know where the title is and how to get it. They refuse to contact the Attorney General Office to request i'm added to the list to make this right. Additionally, i reported this incident to consumer affairs who regulates them. They have failed me as a consumer. I trusted them, and this contract for a car they cannot even secure at this point is baffling. The audacity to refuse to place my loan in a 0% interest deferment due to their negligence is impressive. I have told them numerous times where the title is and in what state and I have verified this information upwards of 10+ times and they fail to document it. Additionally, they have failed to even attempt to resolve this issue by filing the needed court paperwork because they say they cannot. They have POA paperwork from the previous owner so that is simply untrue. They can literally file the paperwork to secure the title. They want ME to pay the cost to secure the title from another state. Their are unwilling to come to a resolution. I feel bullied by this corporation in their half-hearted vague attempts to help and trying to gaslight me into believing it when i'm the one making all the calls and doing all the work. They didn't even know what paperwork they needed to file or how to. If you want this kind of problem by all means, open accounts and get your loans. Beware that working with this financial institution has been a complete nightmare. They will tell you they are trying to help and make half hearted efforts to make themselves look good on paper and do absolutely nothing and make you do all the work.
