In attempts to receive a tax return for our two children, we failed. An injured spouse form does not clear this up if filing jointly. I was told they would file separately, but they did not. We were in the office three different times being helped by three different people. In the end, we ended up paying almost the amount I got back on my return as an injured spouse. They still did not get it correct after the amended return and two times filing the injured spouse form. It is good we are beginning to pay off my husband's student loans debt, however, we were not ready to do that this year. We just had a baby and were in the process of moving from an apartment to a home. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. The level of competency at this firm is filing single status. DO NOT GO THERE to file Married.
