I believe that Icon Realty was involved in hacking my bank account. I leased an apartment in the heart of las olas/Fort Lauderdale from December 2016, from Atlantic loft llc. I agreed to pay a 2 month security deposit of $2400 as well as first, last and security (pretty standard) got my key, etcétera. After 2 different companies handling our property, ICON Realty came in January 2020 and revamped property by implementing a ***online payment service ***** aka , a way to get into your bank account. I questioned who this is and why I had to use this system to pay, not only to be replied with "It is our new system and you have to use it, you must pay rent this way or consult your attorney" As I went ahead and used it but decided to not renew my upcoming ending lease of 3/30/20. I emailed, texted and explain that I would not be renewing the lease because not only I don't trust the payment system, I had a very difficult time communicating with Benjamin (who by the way runs the whole thing). He ignored all my calls and the ones he replied, he did very rudely. I promptly moved out on schedule and handed him the keys along with my original lease agreement. He took the keys and said that He did not have a refund and I would need to wait 30 days to receive one on the mail. Now 30 days later. My bank account has been HACKED and bank investigated the multiple charges leading back to that January rent payment. I have been getting random withdrawals from different wiring entities totaling over 1k so far. Due to covid19, I can not yet file a claim in court. And the reason I am writing this is to WARN tenants and landlords about companies like this! I am attaching the refund check I just received. What a joke! See you in court.

My friend bought a home for $443,450, which closed on September 30th, 2020; Today is December 1st, 2020 and she has not paid me at all. I texted her as a gentle reminder, and she even admitted to owning me money in text messages, but now she refuses to answer. Not only did she steal from me, but she also caused many issues for her client, my friend. The property that he was purchasing came in 51k under value, 5 days before closing. Almost costing my friend an additional 51k. I was so embarrassed when he told me, because of course, I had sent him to her. Being the "best in the business" shouldn't she have done a comp report, so she knew the property was listed too high? I know I will never see any money from her, but I feel it is NECESSARY TO WARN FUTURE AGENTS AND CLIENTS OF HER UNTRUSTWORTHY ACTS. THIS WOMAN CAN NOT BE TRUSTED!!!!!! **IF YOU ARE BUYING A HOME, FIND SOMEONE WHO IS TRUSTWORTHY AND COMPETENT. I had been to Fort Lauderdale several times in the past as a tourist, but was completely clueless when it came to the residential neighborhoods. After a couple months of research, I dumped a mile-long list of requirements and perspective listings on Mike and, quite frankly, was a little nervous that I had overwhelmed him.
