I believe that Icon Realty was involved in hacking my bank account. I leased an apartment in the heart of las olas/Fort Lauderdale from December 2016, from Atlantic loft llc. I agreed to pay a 2 month security deposit of $2400 as well as first, last and security (pretty standard) got my key, etcétera. After 2 different companies handling our property, ICON Realty came in January 2020 and revamped property by implementing a ***online payment service ***** aka , a way to get into your bank account. I questioned who this is and why I had to use this system to pay, not only to be replied with "It is our new system and you have to use it, you must pay rent this way or consult your attorney" As I went ahead and used it but decided to not renew my upcoming ending lease of 3/30/20. I emailed, texted and explain that I would not be renewing the lease because not only I don't trust the payment system, I had a very difficult time communicating with Benjamin (who by the way runs the whole thing). He ignored all my calls and the ones he replied, he did very rudely. I promptly moved out on schedule and handed him the keys along with my original lease agreement. He took the keys and said that He did not have a refund and I would need to wait 30 days to receive one on the mail. Now 30 days later. My bank account has been HACKED and bank investigated the multiple charges leading back to that January rent payment. I have been getting random withdrawals from different wiring entities totaling over 1k so far. Due to covid19, I can not yet file a claim in court. And the reason I am writing this is to WARN tenants and landlords about companies like this! I am attaching the refund check I just received. What a joke! See you in court.

Biggest fiasco I have ever been a part of and I do a ton of business. Maryann P is our property manager and she has, whenever possible, responded quickly to development and owner concerns. She had a roofer and clean-up crew here almost immediately after Irma last year. And other repairs occur timely. The offices are located just east of University on McNab which is convenient for us but I understand she manages 35 developments so I'm not sure where the others are located. As I had a "mega" property management company at my last development in NC, I don't know how they compare to others in the area but this being a smaller company, the hours are a little limited (9 - 5 M - Th with lunch from 12 - 1, closed Fridays). If I need assistance during the week, calling needs to occur during their hours but Maryann is responsive to email. If you are looking, give them a call.
