( Miss Tiffany) They take the time to listen and explain everything In easy to understand language. Options are fully discussed and I never feel rushed. Dr Pittman is wonderful and is a caring, patient doctor even though I know he has a busy schedule. I requested and received detailed information about the entire process of what would be done during a root canal, including instruments to be used. I was given thorough explanation on the tooth, the anatomy of the tooth as well as the function of the nerves. Great care was given to insure my comfort and well being throughout this process. They did not have an appt until the end of the month (today is May 7) and surgery not available until June. Surgery? I just need a tooth pulled. I asked what am I supposed to do about the pain. She said "I don't know. Call Dixieland Dental" who does not accept insurance and it's cash only. I called Foundation Dental and have an appt tomorrow. Dothan Dental...you just lost a patient!

Well, that time came around again. They had to start by doing xrays & a cleaning in order to give a proper evaluation. I told them I needed to be gassed if they were going to do any probing, scraping, drilling, in my mouth. They didn't judge me, make me feel bad for letting it get to this point, etc. They built the sedation and gas into my bill for every visit [ended up needing 7 total for all the work I had to have done, I just finished the 2nd one today] & I thought I was going to have to have 4 false teeth put in but they told me they could do a different, cheaper, method instead. Everyone from billing department to dental assistant to dentist are so incredibly friendly. I couldn't be happier & my fear of the dentist is beginning to subside. Yay!
