I am afraid to write this review, because Genevieve is going to get booked up and then she'll raise her prices and then she'll move far away to a bigger house with her own studio and we'll never be able to use her again!!! Genevieve was absolutely fabulous in every way. We had a family shoot at our home. She was very respectful, but at the same time we had a ton of fun! My kids immediately loved her and played up to the camera. She spent so much more time than planned, giving us a personalized experience. And she's so easy to talk to and get along with, you don't want her to leave anyway! She brought props for some perfect baby photos, and seemed to know what pics to get even before asking ( she asked anyway to make sure we were happy!). Her price does not reflect her skill or depth of time spent, with you and afterward photo-shopping your package. This is coming from someone who does not like her picture taken, but I think she is changing that. Genevieve is the best photographer my family has ever used. I have so little time it seems even to use the bathroom...and as a busy mom, Genevieves mini-sessions are such a fit for us. If it weren't for that we would be out updated family photos or using a mall kiosk. My husband hates getting photos done and when we are done with sessions, he is like.."oh, I didn't even know we started". Genevieve is so fluid in conversation and efficient it takes the nerves off you and boom you are leaving. I love her "capture real life" style that speaks truth. No false poses here. Also, cost is extremely affordable for all families. Gen strives hard to provide options to all income levels. Mini-sessions are my favorite for that reason. Try Gen and you will not be disappointed. We most recently met Genevieve in downtown Royal Oak to take our son's senior pictures. She spent time chatting with Ethan as we followed them around. Ethan and Genevieve got to know each other which allowed her to decide the places and poses that would best suit him. Both Genevieve and Ethan seemed relaxed and had fun. When we received the pictures I couldn't even put into words how amazing they were, they were breathtaking. Genevieve captured Ethan's personality perfectly. She also made me relaxed as it was less than a week since number six was born and she was able to get great pictures of all of them for me!
