My business had $27,000 stolen from their bank (check fraud) and they did absolutely nothing for me to get it back. I had to file my own police report, investigate the bank it was deposited in and leverage my own banking relationship with the other institution to get anywhere. I still don't have the money back 2 months later, but I have been assured by the OTHER institution it is placed on hold and I will get it back. The State Bank sent me a letter from their fancy attorney yesterday (their billable rate was probably close to my $27,000 that went missing) pointing a lot of fingers at me telling me my request for returned funds was denied. The State Banks employees are condescending and rude. Even the president of the bank was involved and could have cared less that they were losing a 25 year customer. The state bank mobile app and text chat help service is absolute trash. They just switched to a…read moredifferent app and didn't send an email or notify anyone. All they did was post a notice on their website, when a majority of users probably never go on the website. So I had no access to mobile until I chatted with a rep for an hour and a half. The rep didn't even know half the information and claimed "sorry they don't tell us everything and all the changes" like wtf? That's your job to know. Horrible service, horrible help, extremely frustrating. Switching banks ASAP.
