I'm a long…read moretime banker, currently retired, and this place is one of the worst I've seen in my decades long career. First, here's a little insider secret: banks are notoriously cheap when it comes to hiring good IT professionals. Why? Profit for the shareholders, of course. Since banks merge with other banks all the time if you work in the industry long enough you'll work for quite a few. Well, that's unless you stay at the lower level positions. Ive worked my way up the ranks in many dinferential positions so I know a thing or two. The only reason your money is safe is because it's FDA insured and not because they have good IT teams. 5/3 wasn't that great to begin with but they've recently gone through two back to back mergers. Their syste is a mess right now. Each time I attempt to make an online purchase it blocks my card as "suspicious". So I call and I'm told they don't see a problem with my card and they don't see a block. Some time later I try to use my card at a store and it's rejected. I call them and they say my card is blocked and it's always the "suspicious" online transaction that they couldn't see when they blocked by card. Interestingly, my husband that jointly owns the account, doesn't have this problem.Unless you like high blood pressure and talking to someone in a foreign call center who when they say they'll transfer you to a different department and then sends you right back to the beginning of the automated system avoid this bank.

If at any point…read moreyou actually need to go inside to do any banking you're going to be waiting for a very long time. Between my wife and I and my teenage sons we HAD 7 accounts. I say had because I just went to open an account for my 16 year old and intrude branch fashion waited for over 30 minutes with the banker telling me just one minute. Once she finished with the customer she was helping she walked past us and told me just a couple more minutes and walked in the back. A few minutes later the office door opened and she said something to a teller. That teller then came to me and mentioned she wasn't available and would I like to make an appointment to open an account. I told him no, and that I would be taking all of my accounts elsewhere. Too many banks to be treated this way.

Then was sent information over the day of signing that it was a powersport loan for 9.99%... It definitely would have been nice knowing that information, but their loan department failed on letting me know that.
