And I was here Memorial Day when they were running some specials. I haven't figured out exactly what the deal was - but a couple of my items were 99 cents. I usually stop here for a specific item that I can't find elsewhere, to get a deal on something unique, or to not spend too much money on something I'll only wear once. I also might check out their cooking items. This time, I was (as usual), here to check out the shoes. I was looking for dress shoes - summer heels. In the past, I have found awesome, new-looking shoes - Michael Kors, Nine West, etc. While it wasn't a name brand this time, they were like new. A lovely dusty rose. And when I find something with a unique color, I of course need to find a matching blouse or two - and jacket. All of which I found. No one ever knows where I shop - as I sprinkle in these items with others in which I invest a lot of money. And I always carry a Coach purse and very nice outer wear jackets. The Staff at Goodwill are usually very nice. At least the cashiers. And the donation intake are helpful, too. It's a bit of a cycle, I buy new (to me) things and donate what I'm replacing or don't wear anymore. The best stuff goes to Dress for Success. Everything else including non-clothing things go to Goodwill. Great deals while supporting a wonderful organization!

And they have amazing prices compared to other thrift stores. I ended up purchasing 4 things - a dresser, two chairs, and a coat 'tree'. An employee walks with you, marks what you want to buy, then checks you out. They will then help you load big pieces. Shout out to Seth & Wayne for being an amazing help to us on a busy weekend.

Over the years I've gotten amazing items and very good prices. But lately, I don't know who's…read morepricing items, but their costs have gone WAY up ($100 for a small, used, unlit Christmas tree?) and many collectible items are as expensive or more expensive than they are on EBay. Identical items with sometimes have a $25 price difference (the Kincade villages, some china etc). I don't think it's worth going to that part of Morse road unless they fix the price problem.

I was very humiliated. He acts like he's doing customers a huge favor, but actually I'd be happier to have self check out rather than people like him! This is the third time I've had him and he's always nasty and rude. For that reason I hate going to your store! Please get self checkout so I can shop there without encountering people that hate their job- like Eric!

My first experience with Columbus Gives Back was working with the group as a nonprofit partner. I…read morewas in need of volunteers for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, a 5K walk. The leadership was great at communicating throughout the recruitment process. At the event, all staff members who worked with the volunteers loved doing so and the volunteers had great feed back too. I've also had the pleasure of volunteering myself. I love that the group offers a variety of organizations to become involved with. The flexibility has provided me a volunteer experience that works with my schedule. The other volunteers have always been wonderful and I know I'll continue to volunteer and recommend to friends. I have made legitimate friendships and had meaningful volunteering experiences. Sometimes, you just need to do something for someone else and CGB is an easy way to connect to volunteering events in the Columbus area. My favorite events locations include Meals on Wheels with LifeCare Alliance and the YWCA Family Center. Not only has CGB helped me help out the community, but I've had a chance to try some amazing restaurants with the volunteers after the events. I would highly recommend volunteering with this group if you're looking to meet people and do something good in the Columbus area.
