I tried calling both the people (T & H, for short) who administer the test to schedule it and neither one called me back. I also texted one of them (H) and never heard back. So I called the rec center and they gave me the email for H. I emailed him and he replied and we scheduled it. Then, two hours before the time we had scheduled, he emailed me and said he would be teaching a class at that time and could I do it myself? I had never paid attention to the set-up of the procedure so I said no. So he said he would get someone to cover for him and he'd be there at our scheduled time. I got there early and waited about 15 minutes before I went to the front desk to tell them I needed help with the scheduled test. The person followed me back to the in-body room and pointed to a man and said "That's H". So he was out in the hallway having a conversation and I was waiting (at that point nearly 20 minutes) for him. He came in and gave me the test. Some version of this happens every 3 months when I buy new passes and have to run the gauntlet to get my free test and it is extremely frustrating.

My son is the youngest of the bunch, and if anything, he struggled a little bit on his own a bit getting stuck in one of the tubes and running into the carousel and definitely needed to be followed around closely. But overall he had an amazing time and did not want to open his presents or eat his cake because he was having so much fun! From trails to playgrounds to restrooms they are all in good condition. The High Banks Park is very popular (many Columbus people drive across the city to come here) so especially on weekends finding parking can be a challenge. Plan way ahead if you want to get a picnic spot (shelter houses are by reservation most of the time). Kudos to Columbus for investing in the area's green spaces!

You could easily spend an entire day here walking multiple trails. We would recommend bringing water because we did not see water fountains or stations, and some stretches of trail were quite long. We would also recommend exploring and seeing what you find. We found a fun area with wooden exercise and play equipment. We spent about 30 minutes playing with all of the pieces. It was so much fun and we are already planning our next trip back!

When i ask the girls that work there blame it on " the cleaning lady" the hand dryer in the ladies room has been out of order for seven months now. I mentioned it to Bryan back in winter. He said "oh yeah the part has been ordered" why lie. This place certainly brings in enough money that they should be able to get a new hand dryer. My concern is how do the young ladies that work there with children wash their hands? They can't! I guess rinse and wipe on your shirt. Its a simple expectation of any business.
