Left with unfinished dental work, I start feeling something like an abscess where root canal was done. I go back to office where dentist proceeded to lie to me instead of just apologizing and fixing my now broken tooth. He said insurance denied you and you must be a new patient.... HUH that doesn't even make sense. So I informed dentist no one submitted it to insurance and he did the root canal on me. He then says awe I just did what another dentist told me to do on you, whatever I scheduled an appointment to now get tooth removed. Because dentist said it had to come out immediately but place books me weeks out and cancels my appointment on me when I go to get it removed today. Show up to appointment to be told it was given away. Why? Because they sent a text yesterday that I never saw asking me to confirm. However at 9am this morning they didn't text me to say they canceled, they text me to remind me of my 11am appt today! WTH ... more lies and unprofessional behavior Then Tiffany the so called manager with her smug smile says it's policy. Again no apology, no let's fix it, just her being a horrible employee and example to office staff. I say so you don't submit my paperwork to insurance and now you give away my appointment. She blames me for not calling them, who is this incompetent woman! I mean I know the office staff doesn't make $ but that isn't patient's fault. Last time I checked if you make an appointment it's yours until you cancel it! But this place only cares about $ and not patients! They double book to cancel you for any reason probably to take a higher paying patient. I've done the job and would never be like Tiffany or the older office lady to any patient ever! Such a joke of a place and filthy as well, absolutely disgusting in there. The dentist table etc was so dirty, along with bathrooms! Obviously no one cleans anything either while they're not doing their jobs. The dental assistants were the only good people there!

My orthodontist, Shine orthodontics recommend them since I'm not from the area. To my surprise they took my insurance, so that was a plus! Upon arriving, the building was easy to find, good parking! From when I walked in to when I left, everyone was nice and friendly. Not overly fake friendly, just truly nice. They seem to be very up-to-date on all new technology/tools, it was busy but I didnt wait long and never felt rushed. They answered any questions that I had, made sure that I was comfortable, would ask if I need breaks. Explained what they were doing and why. Showed me the X-rays ( I was curious) and made a follow up appointment, told me beforehand how long it would take and want to expect. Or course, I went on google and I was nervous! But it was a smooth and easy process to get the crown placed. I have fully switched my dental care here, yes it's an hour plus drive for me. But well worth it! One of those things has been tooth pain and finding out I needed to have a root canal before leaving. I was referred to Uzzel Dental Group by a friend and they were able to schedule to see me within two weeks. Dr. Uzzel is the most gentle, kind, and exceptionally talented Dentist I have ever been treated by. He and his staff have been clear with all that is going on and how they would treat it. Dr. Kristy Bultema at Beavercreek Endodontics who he referred to perform my root canal itself was warm and comforting (even after having some not so fun side effects from the numbing agent) and did an amazing job. Then to top it all off due to some PCSing gymnastics I had to wait at Dr. Uzzel's office for a couple of hours after walking across the street from having my root canal done to put the permanent crown on and his staff has been absolutely amazing. (To reiterate the wait was not their fault it was due to PCSing fun. If anything it was a huge favor to squeeze me in before our out processing date.) His staff has taken care of me all morning. Treating me like family. Even giving me snacks and making sure I have been comfortable. Additionally, I had a beautiful connection with a fellow patient that was extremely encouraging. I called Central Ohio Endodontics the same day, and they got me in the very next. Since the appointment a day later, I have no pain. I am so thankful for Dr. Menke for helping my teeth.
