Think I am going to look for another dentist. Yet I have said this before. Teresa the office mgr called to confirm from my appt. I meant to call yesterday to reschedule due to work schedule. She attempted to tell me it would $25 to reschedule since the appt was within the 24 hrs time frame. Then said it was due to me having to reschedule AGAIN. she called at 10:59a. My appt is tomorrow at 330p.. So I said just cancel it. I called back and asked would this 25$ fee be included in my next visit she said no. She goes to say due to the dr only being here on 2 Mondays and only Thursdays and the length of my appointment/procedure is why I was going to get the fee. I said well that should have been explained to me she tells me I am rude and always have Attitude. Ma'am if this was told to me I would not have an attitude but you gave me 3 diff reasons why you trying to charge me 25$. I understand appts are tight for this dr. But don't tell me I always have an attitude when it's always an issue with the front staff. I had a Saturday appt and was told they would call me to set my appt. No call. I had to call them. And the receptionist told me "she forgot to write it down " Again the Drs are great. The office staff is the issue. SMH. read more

I just want to give a shout out to Sam! She was very kind and gentle! My tooth was very sensitive and typically X-rays are very uncomfortable, but I didn't feel a thing. The front office ladies are nice as well which is a plus! read more

Never put money on deposit in this office for "possible" future costs. They cannot put it back on the card it came from when it's not needed. The office cannot issue a refund check. Corporate has to issue a check but then say they have no corporate office to contact when we haven't received it after four weeks. Greg went in today and was told they JUST requested it. The staff, specifically Victoria, is rude. This review is not about the quality of care by the dentist. its about office practices and refunding money. read more

Their name may be "Gentle" Dental but they are anything but on your pocketbook. just charged me 100$ for nothing. Wanted to charge me 365$ for a SINGLE EXTRACTION and inflated the price to 20k for treatment the same quote I got just a year before for 13k. Also, these assholes keep their place at like 62' YEA REAL GREAT MOVE, MAKE PEOPLE SHIVER AND GNASH THEIR TEETH WHEN THERE IN THERE TO HAVE THEIR TEETH FIXED. In short Gentle Dental gives ALL dentist's a bad name by massively inflating their prices. To anyone who thinks it's a good idea to purchase their teeth care from Gental Dental be aware you're paying 3x market value on their services, take a good long look at the BMW the dentist has in the parking lot, and know he got that car from ripping good people off. read more

I have been coming to this location for close to 10 years. The dentists are fabulous. Unfortunately the new front desk staff is rude and disrespectful. Victoria is the new office manager and extremely unprofessional. She was condescending, rude and yelled at me when I asked why my appointment time was changed. I wasn't even upset at the change, just curious. She was beyond unprofessional and has cost this office a minimum of 8 clients since I take my entire family here. I will not return to this location as long as she is the office manager. I have recommended several people over the years. It is disappointing that I can longer do that. read more

I have major dental phobia due to waking up two times during dental implant procedures! Getting me in a dental chair is no easy task. So when my crown broke I was freaking out! The office manager, Megan, is amazing! She definitely calmed my fears and helped me make the right decision of where to get my crown! I have been a patient at this office for over 15 years and I always had very good service. In Feb 2022, I went to because a crown in the upper back came off and had to be replaced. When they put the new crown on, the surface was not the same as the other teeth and I bothered me when drank or ate something hot. The Dentist made adjustments and said that was all they could do. I was upset and changed to a new dentist and I found out that this Crown didn't cover the tooth all the way and should be replaced. Today, I went in to Gentle Care and the dentist told me that this crown wasn't made right and that she would replace it. When I got to the checkout counter, I was told that they were going to gI've me a 50% discount for the new crown. They said that since I didn't come back every 6 months for my cleaning that the 5 year warranty was not valid. The dentist that put this crown on should have disclosed the defect when I complained about it. They need to do the right thing and replace this defective crown. My previous dentist there would have never let me leave with this crown in my mouth. read more

I like Gentle Dental Care because the office is tidy and convenient to my neighborhood, the fees are reasonable (and they take my insurance), and the care I receive is just what the name says: gentle. Dr. Le has a very nice touch and a sweet manner. Scheduling is never an issue. The one thing that could be improved upon is an update to the decor, but that's not a major issue for me. read more

I took my son here as his first dentist trip and every time I would go they would bash me for breastfeeding my son, saying that's why he was getting cavities that I needed to stop breastfeeding him, mind you he was six months old and the cavities started coming out instantly after I gave him an antibiotic for an ear infection that gave him a bad reaction and I did tell the dentist about this and still was pressured to stop breastfeeding him. I did not because breastfeeding is what keep my baby healthy. Then they would cancel appointments at last minute. To top it off when I filed a complaint on their pediatric dentist they got offended and canceled my son's appointment after I left the office that day that they had literally just set up when I went earlier that morning. I come here to get my teeth clean and they really are "gentle". I have not that about ever switching I do recommend this place. They are open on the weekend which makes it easier for me since I wouldn't be able to make it in the weekdays to the dentist. Overall, this is a good dentist place read more

Not a good office. I was told to come in at a certain date. I came in on that date and then they tell me "you're not due for another appointment until another 5 weeks" and on top of that they tell me I need a paper filled out by my doctor to even be seen because I'm pregnant. But I went in for a cleaning when I was around 3 months pregnant and it wasn't a problem, they just saw me and didn't tell me i needed any paper. So even if I was due for another appointment I wouldn't have been able to be seen. That's not the end , I was told on the phone to be there at 3:45. I got a text message to be there at 3:45. I got a confirmation call to be there at 3:45. As I was pulling in I got a call from them saying I was late for my appointment and I should've called them (It was 3:44 - I could've been earlier but I wasn't late. There's a 15 min grace period that I hadn't hit yet) I told her twice that I wasn't late and she insisted that the appointment was 3:30. I said "then that was a mistake on y'all's end" . Then she hung up on me. And when I went inside and asked why she hung up she said "I didn't" She did. So, they screwed up my appointment day and my appointment time and we're talking to me like I was the one who messed something up by not having a medical release form from my doctor. But again. I was seen before when I was 3 months pregnant and was never told of such form. This dental office does not communicate with each other and they are rude. You can find a better office. Don't go here. I'm an understanding person , mistakes happen, but the fact that I was hung up on and there was more than one mistake is not okay. Get it together Gentle Dental. My 14 yr old daughter went in for a checkup and had two filling in her back permanent molars. They recommended composite fillings which is not abnormal. However current research shows that amalgam is more appropriate for back teeth especially in younger patients as it lasts longer, is more durable and had a better bond. Not to mention that insurance will generally cover the full cost of amalgam and the composite has a high out of pocket cost. When I called the dentist to explain that we preferred the amalgam filling they took the time to lie about them. I was told that amalgam fillings are made with "poison" and that "every study ever done" shows that they are bad for you. That is demonstrably untrue and not supported by the ADA, the FDA or any current research. They also tried to convince me that composite fillings would last longer because they "stick better". I understand if an office chooses to use composite exclusively. But when a doctor's office uses half-truths and lies to try and convince a patient to spend more money than they need / should simply because it's easier for the dentist I get a little upset. read more
