I had a lovely experience with my pico eyebrow tattoo removal. I have over 20 years of eyebrow tattoos (regular tattoo, microblading, ombré shading) and wanted to start all over for the best outcome. This was my first time doing my full brow and was referred by my friend who has gone to multiple locations for this service and recommended this establishment as most efficient. The rep. On the phone was super lovely, answered all of my questions. They texted me a couple days before to remind me to complete some consents and place a deposit for $50 consult which can be used towards treatment if we move forward after consult. Dr. Tariq presented as kind, warm, competent. I felt immediate trust in him to do my service. Yes it was painful, but that is expected. He used ice to numb the area for a short period of time before going in. Because the eyebrow area is so small, it is tolerable. I do want to say I have a high pain tolerance. To me beauty = pain. ;) I anticipated that I would need 6 sessions 6-8 weeks apart however Dr estimated 2-3 sessions 6 weeks apart. I am 6 days post treatment today and it's gotten so much lighter. I could probably stop here but I def want to have as much red removed as possible. Right after treatment, my whole tattoo appeared gone but shortly after the redness started and I was so swollen for 2 days. Used lots of ice and bought the $25 aloe treatment gel mixture they sell. I purchased a Groupon for laser hair removal from GCL during 2022 after trying another med spa and seeing little improvement with my underarm hair. The office is pristine- you can tell this is a legit drs office rather than a med spa. Brenda did my laser hair removal and was nice. The only unpleasant thing was the pain of the laser itself. I used numbing cream prior and the pain was almost unbearable. I have a lower pain tolerance but I've never experienced that with other lasers at other medspas. HOWEVER, although painful, I will say, the laser was extremely effective and I barely have to shave anymore, when I used to shave everyday. I'm considering coming back here to do other areas of my body once I muster up the bravery lol read more

In 2019 (I believe), I purchased a package of laser hair removal. I didn't know that when I purchased it, I was going to get pregnant with my first kid therefore resulting in a pause in treatment. I was very communicative with them through the postpartum phase that I was nursing and couldn't resume treatment but that I would return to treatment when I was done nursing and not pregnant. Fast forward to three kids that I nursed back to back I was finally able to resume treatment. However GentleCare insisted I needed to repurchase. The way they double downed on not honoring the original package I purchased was in such poor taste. I had a legitimate medical reason for pausing treatment and when I informed them of my condition they made it sound like they would accommodate me. Guess not. I suppose they're just a money hungry company that puts nonsensical policies over customer service and common courtesy. Not cool. read more

Tattoo removal review: Dr. Khan was super friendly, well spoken, and explained things very well. He definitely gave me realistic expectations as far as what to expect pain wise, result wise, and gave me different options as far as pricing goes. Basically, the quicker and more pain-free you want the process to be, the more you will pay. Keep in mind that you have to wait a couple months in between sessions, so if you are in a rush to get rid of something, get started sooner rather than later. Also, the bigger and darker the tattoo, the more sessions it will take. Makes you want the rethink that butterfly or Tweety bird tattoo right? Dr Khan gave me a cool squeeze toy to squeeze on during the procedure, and I definitely used it. I used the pico laser, the first round was pretty painful, but went pretty fast. The way it was described to me over the phone was that it felt like hot bacon grease on you, and I felt that was pretty accurate (but, like double that). I also used the describe patch, which supposedly makes it so that they can go at a higher intensity and you can remove your tattoo faster, a bit pricey though. I was told that as the tattoo gets lighter, it will be less painful. Fingers crossed for that one! read more

I was recommended to see Dr. Khan by Pomi B who does amazing microblading and permanent makeup. I have really outdated PMU eyebrows, which I regret every time I look in the mirror. I've been wanting to get microblading instead but my PMU is so dark, there's no way to go over it. I also want to add that I had already gotten 5 sessions of PhiRemoval to try to lighten my eyebrows to no avail. I felt like I would be cursed with these eyebrows for life until I saw Dr. Khan. I was able to get a next day appointment. They offer free consultations, but require a credit card hold for cancellations and no shows and will charge you $50, which is reasonable in my opinion. I saw Dr. Khan who was very thorough and patient. He answered all 78 of my questions and made me feel very comfortable. By the way, Dr. Khan uses the Q-switch laser and explained to me the reason for his preference over the PICO. The office was clean and being the germaphobe that I am, I did notice how often he changed his gloves which are brownie points in my book. The actually laser feels like a rubberband snapping against you skin and was a fairly quick process. It cost me $100 for one session and I'll be returning every 6 weeks until I have a clean canvas for microblading. I also purchased a hydrocortisone/aloe vera/vitamin e cream for $25 to help with the healing. 5 out of 5 would recommend and return. read more

Considering laser hair removal? Confused by all the different places and where to go I was. GentleCare is the second place I have tried and they provide great results. You are coached on what pre-care needs to be done to help them give you the results you desire. During treatment there is active discussion to help distract from the usually mild stings, but remember you wanted this! The technician is wonderful and yes at times there has been a small wait for your appointment. I consider the wait minimal since I want them to be thorough on my treatment and sometimes it goes over a few minutes. GentleCareLaser is a great place to start, their introductory offers through Groupon are a nice way to get started. This star is merely for their scheduling of appointments and wait times. All 6 of my appointments were late and not on time. I've had to wait 15, sometimes 40 mins to be seen. Not acceptable. I hope this office is able to fix their scheduling and late show policy. It's not fair to wait because of someone else NOT being punctual. Scheduling of appointments definitely need to be improved. Brenda on the other hand is truly amazing!! 5 stars for her! She is kind, patient, and welcoming. She's so sweet. In my opinion, laser isn't comfortable at all. But Brenda is quick and makes it easy. Dr. Khan is very knowledgeable and down to earth. Before each new procedure, he sits down with me to educate me and set expectations. He's been very honest and accommodating. I always find our conversations interesting and am always very relaxed during treatment. He also tries many of the procedures on himself so he knows in great detail what it feels like to be in his patients' shoes. I came here for a seborrheic keratosis (raised wart/mole) removal on my right eyebrow. From the first phone call, everyone from the front office ladies to the doctor himself was super friendly and warm. Exactly the type of medical staff you want when you are undergoing any procedure. Dr. Khan has excellent bedside manners, explained the process thoroughly and was patient in answering all my questions without making me feel rushed..I felt comfortable having him perform the mole removal on me. Price was reasonable. The mole removal itself was quick, the only part that was uncomfortable was the first numbing needle but if you have high pain tolerance, the pain is one quick jab and it goes away quick. The sound of the tool being used is so cringeworthy though. All in all, I was in and out of the office within 25 minutes. It's been almost a week and my would is healing perfectly. So glad I found Dr. Khan's office! FYI, the office itself can be easy to miss if you're driving pass it. It's located on the upper floor inside a huge medical plaza. read more

I bought a Groupon laser hair removal package for 6 sessions. The treatment worked but the laser machine that this facility uses was rather painful. I've gone to numerous laser hair removal clinics and this was by far the most painful. This was not the problem. The problem I had with this clinic was that the receptionist/scheduler did not tell me that I had used up all the Groupon sessions .. knowing this, she still proceeded to schedule me for a 7th visit to deviously charge me the full amount on the 7th visit. I have no problem paying the full amount for the service, but due to the lack of communication and transparency of this clinic, I feel cheated. I would've appreciated if someone at the clinic had told me that my next visit was going to be a full price visit. I can confirm that devious actions were intended. At the end of my 7th visit (last visit) after paying, Brenda casually tells me " You can just call me for your next appointment". Usually, she schedules me for my next one in the office. I have NEVER called the office to make an appointment. They were always scheduled at the end of my visits. After getting me to pay full price for the 7th visit, her scheme was over and she did not want anything else to do with me. Brenda is amazing. She's very king and gentle. But the business needs to restructure the way they booked their agenda. I had an appointment for laser removal (that only takes 5 minutes). They made me wait 45 minutes. And when I was trying to check if it was my turn already, the person in the front desk just answered that they were a "little behind" in time and offered me the reschedule my appt. I mean I don't think that's a right answer for a patient who had waited for so long. Don't over schedule the agenda if you see the business don't have enough personnel to cover the shift and assist the patients on time please. What a bad experience! read more

Located in a medical building with lots of free parking. I've been here for two treatments so far for my laser tattoo removal. I really like this place staff is always friendly and caring and the doctor is so informative. This is the third place I've gone for laser removal for different areas and hands down this is the best!! Laser treatments do hurt but not terrible just feels like a rubber band snap against your skin. The treatments are fast, the results are great so far and I'm not even half way done. I have learned so much from Dr. Tariq Khan he is full of great information. My coworkers also go to him and they get the same great service and treatment. They never answer their phones, emails, texts, etc, and it's taken me over a year to get my laser done that should have been done in only a few months because every time I try to schedule my next appointment, they say "the earliest we can get you in is in 3 months." Then if you try to reschedule your appointment that they forced you to schedule out 3 months in advance, they can't get you on the schedule for ANOTHER THREE MONTHS. Then when you finally get to the appointment, they tell you to come 15 minutes early, and make you wait in the waiting room for 45 minAwful. The groupon is NOT WORTH IT. Go somewhere else. read more

got a Groupon for laser hair removal on my armpits back in july 2021 for 6 sessions, and i came back every 6 weeks. i just had my last session this past week and i am so happy with the results. i wish i did laser hair removal for my armpits sooner! i used to be so self conscious of my armpits, and hated how often i had to shave or wax them. i don't even think about them now. i think i shave about every 1.5-2 weeks as laser has really slowed the hair growth. honestly, laser hair removal hurts like a b* every time, but Brenda is always so kind and friendly. she gives you a little ball for you to squeeze when she's doing the laser to help the pain a bit. she actively conversates with you during the session, but for me it's a little hard to reply back to her because it stings and i'm in pain lol, however sessions literally last no longer than 5 minutes and there is no discomfort after the session is complete. i am in and out of the office super fast. appointments are kind of hard to get but the front desk does their best to help fit you in! read more
