I am breaking up with laser away. After being a loyal customer for five years and spending many many thousands of dollars I will never give them my business again. I'm tired of being constantly disappointed by their receptionists At multiple locations. 1. I'm sick and tired of their aggressive high-pressure sales tactics. They receive commission. 2. They make too many mistakes. There's been a ridiculous amount of times where I show up for an appointment and the time we chose via phone is not the time in the computer system when I get there thus creating a Domino effect of schedule problems for their day. This has caused me to miss procedures, because they didn't have time, because they screwed up. 3. Their bait and switch scams. Multiple times they called me to tell me about a sale, but then when I'm ready to pay all of a sudden, there are brand new terms and conditions and changes of information. I'm over it laser away. I followed through and completed three more sessions at the new location, but saw absolutely no improvement. Frustrated, I decided to try another company -- and after just one session with them, my tattoo is already about 50% lighter. I reached out to LaserAway about the lack of results and was only offered store credit for the four sessions, which is unacceptable. Getting a callback has been a constant struggle, and the customer service has been among the worst I've experienced. Do yourself a favor: save your time, money, and energy. I feel like they are all nice and accommodating when trying to sell you the packages but then its like whatever. I finally was able to make an appointment to continue my laser treatment but I got a call last minute that they only have one nurse available for the day of my treatment and I can either split up so not all of my areas are covered that day or they will have to cancel/reschedule my appointment. I chose the former and decided to split up. After my appointment, I was asked if I wanted to schedule the area that was dropped and they offered me a timeslot for the day after. I agreed saying weekdays don't work for me and I have to be out quickly since I have a birthday to go to right after. I was assured it would take roughly 20 minutes and it would give me ample time to attend my party. I show up the next day only for them say you are scheduled for Monday. I say no I specifically mentioned weekdays don't work for me and that I had a strict timeline for today. I am writing to express serious concerns about the experience I had during my recent Botox appointment at your clinic. I believe it's important to bring this to your attention not only for my own peace of mind but to ensure the safety and satisfaction of future clients. My appointment was with an injector named Taylor, and this was my second time being treated by her. Unfortunately, I left the appointment feeling deeply uncomfortable, disrespected, and concerned for my safety. Injection Placement: Taylor injected Botox into the top of my head--directly into my hair--which immediately struck me as unusual and alarming. When I questioned her about it, she responded dismissively with, "Do you not want me to do this?!" Her tone was rude and unprofessional, and now I'm genuinely concerned about the risks of injecting Botox into that area, including the potential for adverse effects. I have been researching if I may have a possible stroke or any side effects from that. I am genuinely terrified for my safety right now. Product Waste: I asked for Taylor to focus on my forehead. While treating that area, Taylor expressed product out of the syringe on my forehead after removing the needle and wiped it with gauze, effectively wasting Botox. I asked to look at the gauze to confirm that it was not blood, and that it was in fact Botox. This was especially concerning given the high cost of treatment and the expectation that it be used appropriately and efficiently. Dismissive Behavior: During our interaction, I shared that Botox from a previous session (also with Taylor) had not lasted as long as it typically does for me. I emphasized that I know my own body. Rather than considering my feedback, she insisted, "Your body is just getting used to Botox," and repeated this statement at the end of the appointment, despite my earlier disagreement. Unprofessional Demeanor: Taylor seemed to recall me from our previous session in a tone and expression that felt judgmental, as though something about me irritated her. It felt dismissive and invalidating, and she had a very aggressive demeanor; something about me must have triggered her, because the front desk said she is the best, but my experience was absolutely horrible and traumatizing. I chose LaserAway expecting a high standard of care and professionalism. Unfortunately, this experience has left me questioning both. I am now concerned about the safety of the injections I received and disappointed by the lack of respectful communication. I would appreciate a response regarding how this matter will be addressed and whether any follow-up is necessary from a safety standpoint; I am scared regarding the needle/botox she injected me with into the top of my head! Extremely disappointed, they were very nice selling me packages for thousand of dollars. But after my first session thigs didn't go as well, I went to my second appointment and they told me I only pay for partial treatment for my legs when I got for upper and lower legs and on my first session that's it's what I got but I was told no that it's not what we did and it's not what you got. I was extremely frustrated as I was telling them please call Nikki she sold me the first package and they told me oh sorry she's no longer working here, I said then please check notes and please check cameras and they said they do not have cameras, I said I pay thousands of dollars for a service that's it's not going to be done? I've been coming to laser away Tustin since they opened 7-8 years ago. I have a before picture and keep going because I don't want to get back to that. Huge fan of clear and brilliant does wonders and makes me look more youthful without sun damage. I just went to Liz and she was such a delight, experienced and knowledgeable on any questions I had. I've done laser hair removal 5 years ago and going back for touch ups barely now. It's extremely clean and friendly staff ALWAYS! Laseraway has newer IPL machines and clear & brilliant which is equipped with newer lasers therefore better results and always by a registered nurse. Many places have older machines that are weaker and that's why prices are so different. read more

I did Thermage FLX to my entire face and neck at this location in December of 2021 and it was an absolute waste of $3000 and made my skin laxity and hyperpigmentation worse! At laser away they do not care about each unique individual's needs and their consultations are a joke (just done over the phone or by texting pics). They truly only care about sales and I believe their staff are not adequately trained or experts in what they do. I initially had a consult because I was concerned about the skin laxity in my neck, but the lady I had a phone consultation with sold me on a special where if you do the neck and face you get another area treated for free. She also told me my Fitzpatrick type was ok for this treatment. She told me Thermage FLX was not painful, but it was EXTREMELY painful and a horrible experience. Not only that, but it worsened the laxity in my neck and face and caused a weird rippling effect on my neck. I later found out that energy skin tightening treatments like this actually melt/destroy fat which is something you DO NOT want. It also aggravated my hyperpigmentation and melasma. I had to spend thousands more on other treatments to correct the damage they did. Thankfully I found an ethical med spa that was able to help me reverse the damage done by Laser Away (shoutout to Lauren at Omnia Piel). I decided to use my bonus treatment on my stomach since I had a horrible experience with my face and neck. The lady who did my stomach did not properly numb me and even admitted the treatment was a waste of money! It was so painful she had to lower the power and I'm sure it was a waste of time and money (once again) because it was not done at a high enough frequency. Please don't ever go here. Go to a credible place where they are properly trained and care about your individual needs and results, not just squeezing as much money out of you as they can. read more
