I have been to this place like 5 times. Some times its decent. Recently I went there and got the worst hair cut of my life. Some of the stylists are good like the older lady but I got the young blonde one. She clearly couldnt care less. I gave her specific instructions and she didnt listen at all. She flew through it clearly not caring it took like 6 minutes. She cut the right side of my head half as long as the left. It was almost impressive how little she cared to actually give me a good hair cut. Basically dont go here and if you do make sure you dont get the young blonde girl. read more

I received the worst haircut of my entire life from this place. I have had to wear a hat for multiple weeks because of how awfully my hair was cut. Excellent experience. Love the online appointment process. Touchless payment was equally easy, though the price was slightly higher than I expected. My stylist was very professional. Neck shaving with a straight razor was a big plus, as was the eyebrow trim. Got in and out lickety-split. This is a very cool place! I was complemented on my hair style. read more

OK, the other review for this place was so crappy, I felt the need to say something. They do a nice job here, and I've never had an experience like the one the other review describes. My haircut is simple, but it's been well executed by the stylist every time I've been in. They offer a free coke with your haircut, and getting your hair washed immediately after means no messy hair. I'm not sure what the other dude was expecting, but it's certainly been a solid haircut place run by apparently nice folks every time I've been in (3-4 visits). read more

VERY disappointing!! I've been rushed through in 10 minutes, the result is extremely poor. Not anything close to what I wanted. I told the lady, who happened to be the owner, that I was going to be in a wedding this weekend, thus I needed a clean cut. What I got though, is nothing like it. My neck hasn't even been cleaned so I needed to take a razer and do it myself afterwards, and also there are two CUTS in my back from a bad cutting job. This place is below average. The decor makes it seem like it's a high class place. The haircut was decent, but it was obvious there was no care really put into the work. The person giving me my haircut just rushed through it as fast as she could. The haircut turned out decently, but the beard trim was another story. The sides of my beard are lined up so unevenly. I legitimately have a bald spot on the right side of my head. Worst haircut i have ever gotten in my entire life. The lady who cut my hair could not have cared less, cut it in under 5 minutes, missed multiple spots, left it super uneven and took chunks of hair off above both of my ears. Do not be fooled by the fine atmosphere and trendy decor, this is nothing more than greatclips wrapped in fine paint. As much as I wanted this to be a needed and necessary addition to the Tuscaloosa styling community the customer service, skillset of the stylist, and overall impression left much to be desired for. I came in on a slow day and was treated as if I was bothering the stylist who rushed through everything with shoddy workmanship. Tuscaloosa needs a nice salon who caters to Men's hair, but based on the way these people treat you, and their failure to execute a decent haircut, this is not that place. read more

We had a really great experience here yesterday. The staff was friendly and the cuts were great. My son left saying that it was the best haircut he ever had. I'm very pleased with my cut because I wasn't sure how to tell her to cut it. I'm not used to having a hairstyle so I did enough research on the internet to help me explain. She understood perfectly and executed flawlessly. She even gave me some pointers. I also noticed at one point the other lady called my wife over just to make sure she was going to cut his hair like they wanted. I really hate that I didn't get their names. That was bad on my part. The atmosphere was really nice also. It was sort of man cave like. Oh, they also have "the leg lamp" (A Christmas Story) in there that my wife refuses to let me have. read more

The first time I went here a brunette lady I had did a nice job and I was pleased. Then a few weeks later I went in for a trim and had a blonde haired lady. Dont remember her name but she did not do well at all. Barely listened to what I wanted and cut my hair like she was in a race. I mean she finished cutting it in like 3 minutes. Was so annoyed with how it looked when I got in the car I had to walk back in and ask her to touch it up more so she could fix her mistakes. I would rather someone take their time for what I'm paying for then rush done and it looks like crap. read more

I give this establishment a two based on the fact that I have been in there three times and yet only received good service once. I went in there once shortly after it reopened in it's new location and received a decent cut, grant it not 22$ decent but decent enough regardless. I did however, go very recently and was absolutely appalled by the service I received. When I walked in there were two barbers and one was just finishing up meaning that the other had her hands free to deal with me presently. This was not the case. After signing in it probably took about 4-5 minutes before Mary decided to see me and with a apathetic attitude at that. I offered her a picture of what I would like done and specified how I would like it on multiple occasions. All I wanted was to taper the sides and slightly shorten the top "the cut most if not every man gets". I told her at the very bottom all I wanted was a two. She proceded to tell me that it would look silly and after convincing me to do it differently dragged the number two clippers from my ear to the very top crown of my head. Not only did this look terrible but also the "blending" as she so boldly described it was extremely shoddy and left the hair that parts away ziz-zagging and severely uneven. I honestly never put much thought into my hair or haircuts because for the past 4-5 years I've always just done the same and have told the same thing to my barbers. The cut I received is without a doubt the worst cut I have ever gotten and it came with horrible service all around. I will not be coming back again. I'm just lucky my hair grows quickly and my hat collection is vast enough to last a couple weeks. read more
