We are really happy with the crew at Genuine Lawn Care! When we moved into our home, we were in need of a retaining wall and our yard needed some TLC. After some research, we felt good about calling Terry and the crew and scheduled them to come out for a quote. When we met with Terry to get his vision for a retaining wall; he was friendly and knew what we wanted from the start. He was able to match the brick work that was already pre-existing in the back of our house; which was a plus! Terry and his crew scheduled a time to come out to work on the wall; and they made it look awesome! They made sure to include drainage areas and the tiered looks is just what we wanted for the steep incline in our yard. Not only do we use GLC for our retaining wall, we also use them to treat our yard and do most of the yard work. When we first moved in, our yard was filled with mostly weeds and we had a "grub" problem. Well, with their help, our yard is looking better and the grass is actually green and well taken care of! They do all sorts of treatment throughout the year for us at a decent rate and we are so lucky to have them come out to mow the lawn too! When the crew arrives for lawn service, they get things done pretty quickly and always make sure to clean up after themselves. I only write reviews if something was outstanding or very poor, Terry and his crew are outstanding. I let my yard get overgrown with unwanted trees, weeds, and a brush pile the size of a small car. In 4 hours they did what would take me 4 weeks. They gave me an estimate very quickly after getting info about my job, and after talking to friends about the scope of the job it was very reasonable. Wow!!! I called Genuine Lawn Care today for driveway snow removal . I was immediately quoted over the phone and told my driveway would be cleared in the next 12-14 hours . Two men arrived to my house at 9:55pm , on what I'm sure was a very busy day for them ,with the foot of snow that fell in one day in STL. They were courteous and respectful of my home. I had realized they had arrived ,and turned on floodlights for them , to find out they had already cleared a path from my back door to my garage , before I had even asked! $90.00 dollar min. charge to shovel snow . i have a 10 ft small sidewalk to car. 2 inches snow. i'm handicapped? . its $90 bucks to show up plus a time charge of $90 bucks a minute .what a rip off .BEWARE IF Any COMPANY IS NOT Insured & ( BONDED ) IF they get hurt. they can Sue u. Any damage they cause with a plow or shovel your out of luck. IF THEIR NOT BONDED. you didn't say u were bonded in your reply. do not let any Company on your property that's not bonded and Check that their insurance is paid to date on all workers . & VERIFY THEIR BONDED.Before COME ONTO YOUR PROPERTY.
