This is a treasure in Leesburg. The docents are friendly and welcoming with a real personalized, hometown feel to their presentations.

We were in Leesburg for a wedding at the end of October and decided to take a tour of General Marshall's home.

When I research car services on Yelp, I found that Monumental Tours was woman-owned and offered the cheapest rate of all the car services that I found. From days before the pick-up date to the drop-off, Monumental Tours was nothing short of AMAZING. Abe was sure to check-in on location of where my boss was to be picked and also notified of me his driver each time. Abe was very courteous and professional. My boss was highly satisfied with their service. I recommend Monumental Tours anytime you're in the D.C. or surrounding area(s). They also provide private tours in luxury vehicles as well. They are the ABSOLUTE BEST! I wish I could give them 10 stars. :-)

Terrible place. Color me not impressed…read more I was called to court -- won't elaborate more, just as i don't really care or want to -- but what an abysmal experience it has been. First off, parking is insanely hard to find. Come around lunchtime and you have to drive down 3-4 side roads and wander around for a good 15 min with no clue what you're doing, and right at the moment your heart hits panic mode, you'll likely find an open spot for street parking in the randomest of places. That's free parking, but it's a pure waste of time, so I don't treat that as free at all. Also, remember to take a photo of the street intersection where you parked. Trust me, Google Maps doesn't do a great job of saving your parking spot sometimes, so if you get lost on the way back, you could be headed in entirely the wrong direction. If you have the street names, just scan for those on a map view, and you'll find your way back home in no time. Knock that out, and it's still a 5-10 min run (or jog) to the court. I opted to run, but others might go for casual or fast-paced walk. Court location by itself sucks, and is nothing to laud about. I got lost but if I walk a bit more I find entrance to where I need to go. Their lockers are confusing to use and their security system is a nightmare. I wish I'd known phones are not allowed. Anyway, sitting through 4 hours of a court session is the truest waste of your life that you can ever reasonably manage, while still managing to stand on the good side of the law. Long story short, parking sucks for the court, location is meh, security system is a 19th century nightmare, and sitting through even an hour in court is the biggest potential waste of life that you can achieve. Be good, stay good, in these uncertain times. Also, this courthouse certifiably sucks, and I was not impressed in the least.
