The called for installing an outlet, routing and receptacles for the other cables, installation of three LED ceiling fixtures, and installation of a switch. The price was very reasonable and the work took about four hours. When the inspector came and saw that the work was done by this company, he joked that he didn't even have to look at it then. He knew it would be done to code. I used them again late last year when I had to get my mom's house in Burlington County ready for sale and the town inspector required some electrical changes, among other work. I had first called a company in the area there and they sent what I thought was an unreasonable proposal. This company did the work for about $2,300.00 less than what the other contractor proposed. So of course I was glad I asked them.

Asked for time and materials to install a ceiling fixture and a duplex outlet. Agreed. Electrical connections fine, but ill-equipped to hang the fixture; had no helper. Thought it appropriate to charge just under $3000 to run a five foot wire from an existing duplex outlet to the new one and an eight foot wire to install the ceiling fixture. You read that right- $3000- The bill included $436 to replace a 9" piece of 1 1/2" PVC drainpipe he mistakenly cut in the process and $257 for four decora items and a Lutron switch for the fixture-readily available at Home Depot at total cost of $88. When the discrepancy pointed out, Tony stated "that's what I have to charge." Sorry, no, not at $165/hr. Committed to a return date to complete other work. Did not show. Caveat emptor: If you feel compelled to hire Tony-he talks a good game-get a firm estimate-Tony's time and materials cost was twice the written bid price of two other reputable sources-and get a firm appointment time; better yet, do yourself a favor-find a different electrician!

I wanted two standard 3way wired switches installed by the front door, since it was unsafe walking in the dark just to turn on the light on the other end of the room. I also requested that an exhaust fan be installed in the bathroom, since the moisture had nowhere to escape, causing water stains to show. I got a few quotes from yelp! but AD Electrical seemed to me to be the most reliable and reasable when it came to the overall price of the project as far as i can tell; I even asked him about alternate ways to save money and he broke down the pros and cons, if I chose one over the other. For example: a wired switch vs a smart one or the exhaust ducked work placed on the side of the home or on the roof, he said on the side of the home would be more expensive so we went with the roof and the best part everthing was done very quickly with no delays or hiccups. Reviewing the work after the fact l noticed that two smart switch were installed instead of what we agreed on, so there was a bit a of miscommunication there but no worries since it would have been a lot harder and more expensive to do, this way was easier and less expensive. Lastly the exhaust seems to be a quite one but I'm not sure, since it seems to be running very weak as if it can't remove the moisture from the air at an optimal pace.

He really could have ran the price up but chose to be genuine and when you have someone like that (much like a good barber or mechanic) you don't go elsewhere and you go out of your way to tell people about them.
