Suddenly 6 kitchen outlets did not work. I was frantic as we are having Sleep Over Company this weekend. George explained what the problem was and by pressing hard on the Reset BUTTON they worked. I asked to have them replaced as they are quite old and too hard to reset. He will come back with new modern outlets but in the meantime we are ok. He was as nice as could be and did everything he could. I have never had a better experience with an Electrician and I am looking forward to having additional electrical work done. Warning: You have to be a mind reader who wants to deal with an overwhelmed contractor with a crappy attitude to hire George Marko. Had him over for an estimate August 3. Told him most work can wait, a few items we'd need sooner than later. He didn't mention he was very busy... Weeks later, no estimate after several follow-ups. Told him I'm "It seems you're not interested in working with us so gonna move on " and his response was "Okay. Good luck on finding that contractor that can move quickly to get your work completed. I need to keep on my schedule and it would not be fair for people already waiting." Didn't realize a simple estimate happening within 19 days was a crazy ask. Now I know! He had done work for us in the past and did a good job aside from not being able to figure out how to get our front doorbell to work, but I guess we're not worth his time anymore. This electrical contractor is nothing more than a used car salesman ,his expertise is in selling you the job! He has no follow thru no concept of customer service Not even sure he 's an Electrican. Came promptly and figured out just was our problem was, for a fair price. Would definitely use again.

I used Mr.Marko to install an emergency cut off switch. I thought he was good until it came time for the inspector to come when he did he realized Mr.Marko never grounded the wire, he taped the electric line to the Gas line and left cardboard in the box that he installed. Speaking to the inspector he informed me that the emergency cut off should be grounded it could catch fire. He informed me he has seen some electrians do so for a call them back and recharge you to ground the wire which is a ripp off to customers they are sipposed ro guarantee their work. I contacted Mr.Marko and he informed me he can fix everything for a fee I explained why I shouldn't have to pay for the work I just paid for I also said im willing to compensate for gas but I don't think it's fair I repay for work I just paid for. He them stopped responding. I texted him and called him multiple times to correct this situation and has he has not respond. I unfortunately would not recommend him to anyone this is not how you treat people, or conduct business. He's ultimately putting people lives at risk for a few dollars. read more
