I actually…read moredidn't know about the Farmers Market until I spotted one of my favorite dessert shops are vendors at this location. So what did I do, planned to go first thing Saturday morning! Located at the Crofton Library parking lot, parking for the Market is onsite - front and back parking lot options, street parking and the church across the street provides parking. Open at 8am - noon and food trucks until 2pm on Saturday's, I saw any and everything you could imagine. Farm fresh produce, pies, goats milk soap, freshly pressed juices, speciality cookies and cupcakes, and EMPANADAS! We were like kids in a candy store, so clearly everything I just listed, we purchased. All of the vendors we encountered were very friendly and helpful. The Farmers Market opens in May and closes for the season in November. My top 3 vendors, Sugar Butter Love, DMV Empanadas, and the Goats Milk Soap vendor - sorry can't remember their name. All had quality options to purchase. The Market has a website to check out the vendors that will be on display, as well as social media pages. I was impressed and will absolutely be back! Note to the wise, bring a reusable bag or two to collect your purchased items. I even brought an insulated bag for my hot/cold items.

Y Worry Farm is definitely the second group. We went on a beautiful October day with our 3-year-old, and it was less than 30 minutes from downtown DC. We loved it: beautiful pumpkin patch, lots of folks but didn't feel crowded, a fun corn maze, and a real "farm stand" feel to it. Definitely recommended for folks with little kids who don't want the craziness of some other spots. No admission fee (for some other places this can be $25 per person!), so you don't feel like you need to stay for hours and hours, and everything was reasonably priced. Great family fun.

This was our one and only time (so far) purchasing anything from here so my review is limited to this one experience. Expect sticker shock if you're getting a tree (but I think that's true anywhere). The tree we got was absolutely beautiful and perfectly shaped. We didn't even have to trim it when we got it home! The staff was very friendly, prepped the tree for us and tied it to our car. I would like to go back here again in the spring when they're back with seasonal produce!

Vendors themselves - I come here to get my daughters cupcakes or cookie whatever she picked out that day. Bows, snacks, soaps, candles, and sustainable items. Generally I always walk away with something. Usually 20 vendors or more and the list of vendors is posted on FB so I follow their page to check on when my favorites are there. Parking- is easy even with a full lot, its on their property with almost no need for walking. Very close. Accessibility- okay for stroller that have bigger tires, maybe less for umbrella strollers. It's all grass so wheelchairs may be hit or miss depending on arm strength. Bathrooms - Portapottys are available. Only negative is as a bunny mom I didn't love they had bunnies out on display for the kids and didn't have a cooling bottle (frozen bottle of ice) to keep the bunnies cool. This is not uncommon especially for a farm. I gave them a cold bottle I had. Afterwards I never saw the bunny out since I'd been back so perhaps they took heed? Either way this is a great market and a consistent family outing. Highly recommend to anyone.

So far I have only eaten the peach mango salsa and it was soooo good. I would love to put it on fish but I didn't have time to purchase fish so I have just eaten it on chips.
