It's already a year and a half that Dr. Commons performed a face lift with temporal brow suspension on me. When I first met Dr. Commons he was very kind and promised me great results because of my skin type. He and his anesthesiologist said that I would look half my age after the operation. I didn't expect that, but I did expect better results. The operation lasted eight hours and the discomfort was enormous. He only prescribed Tylenol for pain and Ambien to help me sleep, they only lasted a few hours. Every time I went to see him he said that I looked great and when I complained about the poor results, he said that I should wait a year. After a year and a half my neck looks the same as before the surgery (what they call a turkey neck) plus there is loose ski under the chin, where he made the incision. There are labial wrinkles, and wrinkles on the face., plus there is redness and swelling under the eyes and on the cheek bones. He promised me that after a year he would pull more skin from my neck and I had only to pay for the surgery center and the anesthesiologist. He suggested that I buy a cream from his office, "Obagi" and the cost was $400.00. He convinced me to have botox on my neck and juvederm on my left cheek, where there is more skin to be pulled off, but they didn't work. I went to see him after 14 months and he was a completely different person. He was very rude. He denied that he was going to redo my neck and there was nothing he could do for the redness and swelling under my eyes. I asked him why I didn't have the results like the photos he had on his office wall before and after the operation) and he answered "They are younger, I can't make you look 30 years younger. Then I mentioned that an actress the same age as me had a face lift and looks great,he said: "She must have paid millions of dollars" After looking at the photos of the women on his office wall with great results after the operation, I deducted that they are ether fake or he was good at it at one time and now it's time for him to retire. read more

Forget the Rest, Dr. Commons is the Best! I had considered liposuction for some time. I was interested in the Vaser ultrasonic technique. I search the internet and found Dr. Commons. I gone to him for a free consultation Spring 2015. He was late for the apt. He didn't really want to examine me. I told him what had happened to my eyes and forehead and I want improvement. It didn't sound like he believed me, but all those furrow marks on my forehead and ugly wrinkles and scars on my eye area was done by one doctor years ago. If he looked closely you can see it man make furrow marks and wrinkles. Signs of stitch marks all over the place. It was done by a crazy doctor decades ago. I moved out of state to work and didn't even look much at my face for a long, long time. . Dr. Common spent only 6 mins with me and told the receptionist to show me where the Stanford clinic is (Just across the walk way from them). That place is where Stanford medical students get their plastic surgery training. I do not want to be a training subject. I used used as one in Spring 1992 with knowing at the time. I paid regular price. I had saved money to get something done. I also wanted a tummy tuck. I was interested in several procedures but Dr. Common wasn't interested in having me as a patient. I was hoping one day there will be more advance things that can be done to help me to improve what this crazy doc done to me more than 2 decades ago. Throughout my 60s I watched as my skin sagged and bagged until I had a turkey-wattle-neck I could no longer disguise, and only a Tom Turkey could love. I had my face and eyes lift done last June with Dr. Commons, and needless to say, I am 110% satisfied with the results. Being my first time under the knife, I was extremely nervous, but Dr. Commons and his staffs were extremely nice, and went out of their ways to make me feel more comfortable. They had several payment options available, which made my dream a reality much sooner than expected. I am 9 days out of a neck and facelift and I look great already. This is the second lift he has done for me. The man is an artist and I wouldn't trust anyone else to do this. When you read the unhappy post, remember some people are chronic malcontents and are not happy with anyone or anything. Dr. Commons is a superb surgeon, is proud of the work he does, and has taken excellent care of me. I almost chickened out on the morning of surgery, I am so so glad I didn't. Dr. Commons did nothing that morning to try to convince me to go through with it, he reassured me that the decision was mine to make. I only hope he doesn't retire before the next time I need a facelift. I had 4 children and looked sloppy no matter how much I worked out. My weight was okay as was my body fat, but in tennis dresses and other clothes I looked old and unfit. I have been going to Dr. Commons for 4 years now for Botox and Juverdom injections with great result. I look natural, and when I tell people what he has done I am told they would not have guessed if I had not mentioned it. Don't be fooled by these fake reviews here and all over the internet, posted by Commons' wife. He actually is a horrible doctor who routinely operates on parts that the patients don't consent to surgery on. This is battery and is a crime. And then if someone sues him for malpractice, he gets the trial fixed by his buddy, a superior court judge. Lying under oath is no big deal for this man, so you can be sure he won't have any problem lying to you when he screws up. read more

I had a really droopy face and was only 46 years old. I considered a liquid facelift but Dr Commons said a young womans facelift was the best choice.
