Great service! I called and he was able to fit me in the next day for a house rekey. Very nice guy. Came prepared with Wasp spray! Which was great because I had some nests around one of my doors and I mentioned them to him and said I'll just make another appointment for him to come out another day and rekey that door so I could take care of the problem and he offered the spray. I give George, at George's Lock and Key, LLC, a 10-star rating. He is a HERO in our estimation. George provided and programmed an additional smart key fob for our Explorer at half the price of other places. He is mobile and comes to you, with all supplies necessary in his truck. That is extremely convenient and helpful. My first impression when calling him was so positive. He actually answered promptly and had time to discuss things with me. I didn't get routed to some call center. His voice was so calm and reassuring; a pleasure to talk with. I didn't realize how much this would come into play a few weeks later when our car wouldn't start. We were packing our car to leave for the winter, and suddenly our car wouldn't start. I called George that morning, and again his calm and reassuring voice was great to hear, as I was trying not to panic. We were scheduled to leave the next day. He came over in 20 minutes and started working on our problem. He stayed most of that day, following one thing to the next to get to the root of the problem. It would be a long, detailed story to recount, but by the end of the day George got our car started! He was just extremely persistent and was determined to conquer that challenge. He was ready to leave and didn't even want to be paid! He said he was so relieved to get the problem solved! Of course, we paid him. We were very happy to be able to leave on our vacation as scheduled. We are telling all our family and friends about George at George's Lock and Key, LLC. He is affordable and reasonable and very gifted and competent with anything related to keys and locks. He has many years of experience, going back to making keys by hand. His knowledge is incredible. He is honest and not out to rip you off in the middle of your emergency, like so many others. George is wonderful! I didn't even use his locksmith service, but I had called after feeling like I was tremendously overpriced from another locksmith service. George's estimate of what he would've charged for the house lockout service was about a fifth of what I had paid. He was extremely kind and sympathetic to the situation, stating it's hard in the moment to know if you're being overcharged because most people only have to use a locksmith once in their life. He even told me that Michigan does not have laws for certifications for locksmiths, like there were in Tennessee, where George practiced previously, thus Michigan residents are often overcharged from other companies that send out techs. So, you're having a really awesome day with your husband and child at the Clarksville Marina. You and your husband just bought this awesome boat - a major purchase, a major life decision and you're feeling great. You and your husband decide to get some food at Liberty Park. The boat is docked and (in the wrong place by the way). Your husband asks you to hand over the keys and as you hand over the key, the ONE boat key got loose from the floater key chain and drops to the bottom of the water. All hell breaks loose!!! What was a loving husband/wife day turned into an argument of who dropped the ONE boat key in the water and the shock over "OMG, I can't believe this is happening" to "this is all your fault." So, we went on google and we find George's number. I call him and tell him it's an absolute emergency and that I (the wife) dropped (took one for the team) the key in the water (even though I'm highly disputing this). George's next question is what kind of boat is it? George came to our rescue in 20 minutes flat, got us a new key AND made a spare key just in case, all while we were eating lunch.
