Seeing a gastro can be sometimes awkward but Dr. Postic makes sure you're comfortable and at ease. I trust him 100%.

Referred here through my family physician, I was surprised it t was not on same side as Lexington medical center of road but easy to get in and out. My experience had all the staff being very friendly to me and considerate of my privacy and nervousness. I was seen very quickly between my arrival and appointment time. The worst part for me was the anesthesia induction it burned at insertion point and kept. That burning was the last I remembered then was in recovery waking up. The doctor was calming and reassuring, he explained results to my driver. My experience was a good one and hope when it comes around again goes as smoothly.

I had a referral & called to schedule an appt but was asked what were my symptoms. I told her and she said they'll return my call to see if my symptoms QUALIFY to schedule an appointment! Never have I ever experienced a specialized office telling me that before! I've been encruating pain & tried to make an appointment knowing they have received my referral already. Of course I never did get a call back for them to say if my PAIN was important enough to be seen by Consultants in Gastroenterology. I had to go out of my way to change referral providers due to their lack of putting a potential new patient as their priority or any priority for that matter.

I submitted an appointment request online and about a week later I got a voicemail requesting that I call back in regards to my appointment request. I called back the number that called me. Maria answered the phone and I began to explain the purpose of my call but halfway through my sentence she cut me off and said "please hold." Then Miriam answered the phone and I began my spiel again, "I'm returning a call from your office regarding scheduling my appointment..." and she immediately cut me off and asked, "This isn't that department, I don't know why you called this number." I couldn't believe she spoke to me this way, but I responded, "I didn't call this number, I was transferred to you." Instead of addressing the mistake or transferring my call to the correct number, she continued to argue with me about why I was calling the wrong office. She used a condescending tone asking, "Did your doctor refer you here for a colonoscopy? I don't understand why you called here..." and on and on as nauseam. Finally I interrupted her and said, "Look, I don't know who transferred me where or why, but that's something y'all need to figure out. It's not my problem. Have a good day." Click. This practice could have the best doctors in the world, but I won't give business to any practice who can't provide manners and basic human courtesy to a new patient in the phone.
