If you have any medical needs this is the place to come. The wait is short and the care is excellent. Every time I come, I am in and out in less than 45-60 minutes. No long waits like any of the local emergency rooms. Dr Hatemi is extremely knowledgeable and does everything he can to make is patients comfortable. Veterans beware. They are not forthcoming with how they bill through the VA. This urgent care claimed zero copays would appear; that I should use Veritas instead of driving to the VA clinic. Then I was charged over $600 for using their clinic when it would have been FREE at the VA. All veterans should take heed that they refused to reimburse me and continue to make the false claim of free unlimited access for veterans. read more

UPDATE AT THE BOTTOM This is a difficult review to write because by and large Veritas is great place to get quick quality care from a runny nose to a broken leg. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The staff is nice, kind, and listen.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Dr Hatemi especially is patient, has a good bedside manner, listens to his patients, provides excellent care. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Dr. Clark, however, is the opposite. He is overconfident, arrogant, does not listen to patient feedback, and will steamroll/railroad over your concerns to do what he feels is best, regardless of patient experience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] One of our kids came in with a sinus infection, and we asked the nurse and the doctor not to prescribe liquid augmenten (amox-clav) for her, because the taste is so foul she won't take it. Well, Dr. Clark prescribed it anyway. We called back to let them know that an error was made, and they responded by telling us to flavor the medicine. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I spoke with Dr Clark, and explained that wasn't going to work, and that he really needed to listen to his patients, especially the parents of his patience, and he hung up on me.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] He is also obsessed with prescribing ipratropium nasal spray, to the point I wonder if he's getting kickbacks from the pharmaceutical company for it. I tried explaining to him that the side effects, for me, are more uncomfortable than the symptoms its trying to relieve, and instead of providing an alternate treatment option, he refused to leave the examination room until I promised I would take the nasal spray. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Dr. Hatemi, I hope you read these, because this guy is giving your practice a black mark. If not for him this would be a 5 star review, because everyone else on staff is great.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]But this guy is so bad we're going to stop going to Veritas.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] UPDATE: Got a second opinion. Two things: first, it wasn't a sinus infection at all, but a viral one. The antibiotics given weakened her immune response, and now its settled in her chest. Second: After Clark hung up on me he proceeded to prescribe what is considered the WORST TASTING antibiotic, out of spite apparently. This guy isn't a doctor. One star. read more

One of the best urgent cares I have ever been to on the east coast and west! I was recommended by any boss when I wasn't feeling to well at work and decided to go here. The staff were all so friendly and kind they definitely have the best customer service I have seen at any clinic or hospital. The wait time was quick too they are in and out in no time. They do not take appointments walk-ins only. FYI there will always be a slight wait time but they do the best they can to make sure everyone gets seen in a timely manner. They have a great staff that is very efficient and they work so well together. The doctors and nurses and staff deserve a 5 star too! Thank you all for taking care of me when I was in pain the last couple of weeks. I will highly recommend anyone and everyone I know to go to this urgent care clinic when sick. There is a parking lot so you do not have to worry and the waiting room is size able so plenty of seating. read more

If they had a tin store rating, I would give them that [[HIGHLIGHT]]you might have a little bit of weight because they take time and talk to you and listen to you and they're concerned about you and that's what I'm looking for in urgent care.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Not somebody who'll just rush me in and out. See how many patients they can do in a day. Just to build your insurance company. Try to cohurt you into a whole bunch of unnecessary tests like other urgent cares in South Carolina. I really don't know what's wrong with some people who are in the field. Not because they care about you, but because they just want the honey. This urgent care is by far the best urgent care. I visited this urgent care for the first time today. I don't have insurance so I paid $125 before I was seen. Everyone was supposed to be masked up which I appreciate. When I was checking in, a woman in the waiting room was talking on her cell phone without a mask. I asked the employee if masks were required as someone wasn't wearing one. She said it was ok as she was on her phone. Not the smartest answer. I almost left at that point. I didn't have to wait long. Someone takes your vitals once you are in a room. The doctor was very nice. I saw him for less than 5 minutes. I guess I would go back if I had to. read more

Convenient for me but friendly, fast & efficient staff. James, Trey & Jenna did an amazing job of getting me checked in & diagnosed quickly. Clean facility with 2 waiting areas. Also, I felt there was great value for what I spent. Dr. Hatemi is amazing! Dr. Hatemi has one of the best bedside manners out there for an Urgent Care Doc. He was interested in me feeling confident that my condition was not worse than I originally thought. Great post care treatment advice while in the office! I was visiting from out of town and my 1 year old started running a high fever. This office was so helpful from the first phone call made all the way to seeing the doctor. They were fast, friendly, and efficient. Not many urgent care centers do well with small children, but this one did and it was so appreciated!! read more

This place is amazing. Started coming here a week or so ago. The doctors and staff are very friendly and are very knowledgeable. The doctor actually takes his time to find out what's going on and explains everything too. They really seem to care a lot about their patients. They seem to care a lot about the community too. We were in deep need of a caring, supportive medical care for my husband recently and on short notice. We absolutely found it here. The staff are absolutely amazing starting with the ladies working reception to the nurses and the incomparable Dr. Hatemi. Veritas is by far the best urgent care in the area. If I could give a 0 I would. Just called earlier (2.23pm) and the lady on the phone was very rude. At my question about insurance her response was a pitiful onamatopeia. Than he asked me on a nasty tone: " Do you have insurance?" Probably she picked on my accent...too bad. The educator in me tried hard to hold the temper.... I took my son who was complaining of body aches, sore throat and a headache. Dr smith walked into the room introduced himself, then proceeded to jerk my sons head roughly around looking in his eyes, ears and mouth. He was in the room for less than 2 minutes and told the nurse to order Antibiotics and then left. He never told me what my son was diagnosed with, I had to ask the nurse when she returned. Her response was " he's treating him for Strep throat ". I asked how he knew without even testing him for it? She responded by saying if it's Strep throatthe Antibiotics will fix it and if it's not, it will work out on it's own. This makes no sense to me to give Antibiotics to a person who may not need it. Why wouldn't you test someone first? Were they too busy to do things properly? Nobody plans to get sick on a weekend but when it happens, you hope there is a decent doctor who can help but after this experience, I will be looking elsewhere. read more

This is by far the best experience I have ever had with an urgent care. Every one was extremely friendly and helpful. Check in was easy and super fast. By the time I returned my paperwork to the front desk and sat down my name was being called. The staff was so kind and helpful. They really went the extra mile to make this a positive experience. No one likes going to the doctors but it was honestly a pleasure to be seen here. I also appreciate the veterans policy. I will return, hopefully not for a while but it's nice to know we have a high quality urgent care in Lexington. read more
