In the context of a medical horror show, still ongoing with damage repairs plastic surgeon still ongoing Dr Remishofsky, Georgetown Dermatologists dermatologist knowing I could not fight back and in vulnerable state blatantly flim/flammed, fraudulently, scammed, ripped me off for $585, August 10th 2020--$500 & August18th 2020--$85...he knows exactly what he did as does the Office Manager-Chantil James, contrary to their website this is hypocritically NOT "serving their patients", selling your morality for a buck is abhorrent What happened was I was laser incinerated, 2 of many damages (as time went on evolved to a facial horror show including orbitals) were a significant nickel size horror gouge on right jaw line and another chain reaction nickel size gouge straight up explosion gouge by sideburn area...in the context of repairs and/or at least to buy some time he was suppose to filler the right sideburn gouge a bit just make it decent enough to look ok and also so I could stop growing stupid looking sideburns to partially cover the gouge buying time until get to specialized plastic surgeon and whole laser face incineration analyzed and repairs started (didn't have to be perfect & wouldn't be), went to appt ($550) instead he went berserk with that filler, he so overbuilt the right side of face I was now lopsided and had to come back for a 2nd appt and spend an additional $500 to build out the left side to balance, when I started to bring this up at that appt (I'm now forced to pay him another $500 for other side through no fault of my own) he flew off the handle scaring me, saying nothing is perfect yada yada, which had zero relevance to reality and the point (best defense was crazy man screaming at me offense I guess), I figured if I continued any more he might butcher me or something with regards to the other side now needed filler must do and cant wait, no other choice, forced scam situation/fraud, and he knew it I still don't get this craziness: he also did not use filler in the jaw line gouge but injected it with "saline" indicating long lasting, which after the fact I found out is a joke, it lasts a few days at best, why would I ok/spend $85 on something last only a few days-costs him next to nothing and he pockets $85, this also as a risk but wasn't told at the time whitened the skin permanently, we got to these original damage scars and their removal, he tried to get most of the white skin caused by the saline solution injection on the right without compromising the needed visual angle of the incision etc.., it will hard to tell for some time yet So being the civilized person I am and doing what your suppose to do as far as a next step I made an appointment with the Office Manager and explained indisputable facts and everything, I could tell from her eyes she knew this was all true, and suspect this is not her rodeo with something like this, she said she would get back to me, of course silence, a classic response-if have nothing to hide why, think about it step back big picture how do you spend $1050 of fillers on a nickel size gouge when only partially one amount available would of been more than enough much less the saline disaster which has multiple contexts, it does not add up, neither make any common sense I repeatedly intermittingly asked for a refund throughout but silence of course....We will eventually get this deplorable in court (guaranteed) and he will lose amongst other state practice items a thousand times what he owed me read more

Beginning in high school, I've sought out treatment for mole checks, hormonal acne, small cyst removals, and botox to help a scar. Jennifer has been nothing more than understanding and supportive for all skin-related issues I have brought up to her, additionally has always made sure any treatment/option was an informed decision. First time there, Dr. Jennifer was very pleasant and very helpful. From the start registration was very easy,seeing doctor and talking to her very pleasant, well checking out, the lady( not sure of her name, ling dark hair, younger, wears a lot of make up, she was very rude, even my 10 year old said something. I asked about to use bathroom she just pointed with finger to Show me where the bathroom is, when I said thank you, respond was" aha" when I said have a great day, I received the same respond "aha" . Dr Remishofky was so rude and blew off the Covid pandemic and offered me cosmetic services even tho it was not considered medically necessary! My mom gave me dr Jennifer's number years ago. She's also referred all of her friends and all of our family over. I've since referred my husband and friends to them, nearly 20 people. Well, none of us will be back. They sent her a more then $400 bill for removing 3 moles, even though she has two insurance coverages. So my dad called to tell them the insurance company is working on it. A few days later my mom, one of the sweetest ladies in the world, received a nasty letter that they terminated her and my dad from their office for nonpayment?!?! Well guess what, they just called to let them know they got the payment from their insurance and no apology. Interesting..... I loved Dr. Jennifer, but all of our family & friends will now be going elsewhere. Unbelievable how rude the office staff can be. I highly suggest not going here and having to deal with all the stress. read more

Our daughter was born with a small preauricular skin tag and several doctors that we saw insisted that she'd have to be put under general anesthesia to have it removed. We decided to bring her in to see Dr. Remishofsky who removed it that day. He numbed it, removed it, put in two stitches and now it's healing beautifully. What could have been a traumatic experience for her (and us) was made so incredibly easy by Dr. Remishofsky and his amazing team. We are so grateful! When we went back to have her stitches removed, one of the nurses commented on how much she enjoys working with Dr. R - I can see why. read more

I took my son here to have a few moles removed. They sent out his specimens to a lab that was covered through our insurance. The second time I went to have a routine blood draw, I specifically asked "Where are you sending my blood ? She repeated "Beaumont labs" I asked because our Blue Cross DOES NOT cover Quest Diagnostics. I just got a bill today for 1,000$ for THAT blood draw. They sent it to Quest and now I'm responsible for it!! I would not recomment this office!! read more

Dr. Remishofsky is arrogant and rude. He does not have any respect for his patients. He criticized me for my hesitance about using oral treatment for acne. Rather than asking about the digestive issues I was having, he dismissed my concerns. He also argued with me about my current prescription, saying he didn't prescribe it. When I told him it was from his office, his answer was that my comment was silly because he doesn't prescribe that ineffective medicine. Ive been in it for years! I just finished my first appt with Dr Jennifer. She was thorough with my completely full body mole check. I did have an issue I specifically came in for and she diagnosed me right away. For love of god don't go there, this place is scam, I had the worst experience in my life. went there last week for acne treatment. Dr. Christopher Remishofsky came in and talked to me for 3 minutes, and he said right way I either take cream and antibiotics forever or you can take accutane, and you will get better right way. After that I went to see my family doctor, and my family doctor said you don't have to take them they have serious side effect, so I called the office and rescheduled an orpiment for next week to tell them I'm not going to take accutane because I'm not feeling comfortable to take them. Went there the following week and saw the doctor after he talked to me for 2 minutes he gave me the first option which is the cream and antibiotics, went to front deck and they ask me for $53 just to give me the first option (cream and antibiotics). for my first appointment I paid $98 just for talking to him for 3 minutes. For second I was willing not to pay because they basically didn't do nothing for me, after I was talking to front desk the doctor came and told don't pay but don't come back again. While the Dermatologists are fantastic and caring, the rest of the staff needs A LOT of help. There is no compassion whatsoever in their voice and actions when trying to make an appointment, especially last minute when there could be a serious (well, to the patient at least) health/skin issue. They always sound like they are in a hurry too. However, when I go in for my appointment, they are all sitting around and do not seem very busy at all. It makes me feel like I am intruding instead of being a patient. But, I stay because the doctors are good. read more

Dr. Remishofsky is extremely talented and an absolute expert at what he does. I have been a patient for years initially for acne, and lately also for cosmetic procedures. I was always self conscious about my skin, and had been to a few doctors prior that never seemed to care or take the time. On arrival, office staff is surprisingly rude. You won't get to see a doctor. Instead I was tended to by a physician's assistant. She froze some pre-cancerous lesions and talked to me about botox. I ended up getting my first ever Botox treatment ($300) for forehead lines and bridge of nose. I was pretty excited until about two weeks later my entire brow collapsed onto my eyelids. I looked like a monster and for over a month I couldn't wear mascara (or any eye makeup for that matter). After seeing a plastic surgeon, I was told that she was inexperienced and unqualified to administer botox (something about treating the wrong muscle or the wrong lines). It wears off, so not a huge deal unless you're very particular about your appearance. But I couldn't help wondering whether she is equally unqualified to detect and treat skin cancer? I won't go back since a visit with an actual doctor is clearly reserved for other unknown things? I chose them bc of a number of good reviews. In retrospect, I see that many of them involve the same person. Maybe there is no actual doctor at this office? read more

Her replies to questions are "yup, yup", as if you are bothering her to make an appointment. I don't know what happened with their front desk staff? This is the best dermatology practice in the area! They respect patients' time and you never wait very long in the waiting room. The staff is friendly and kind. The doctors are excellent. They spend time with you and communicate well so that you understand everything about your condition and treatment. They care about medical and surgical dermatology without trying to up sell products or cosmetics. They offer Botox and fillers, but they do not pressure sales in any way. I took my daughter here after we had some bad results treating a cyst she had on her thigh. The other dermatologist drained it and injected it and left a horrible black scare in which she told us it would get better. Well a year later it was till dark and stuck out horrible during the summer months so my family physician recommended Dr. Rem. The staff there was pleasing to talk to, we didn't have to wait long for our appointment, the Dr was friendly and put her right at ease she wouldn't end up with another scare like the last cyst. She was a little nervous he was a male looking at her thigh but quickly that disappeared with him educating her on the process & the procedure he was gonna perform. The cyst did fill back up about a month later when I was out of town and my 15 year old called and they got her right in since it's very painful. After it came back again he said let's just take it out. We were both a little nervous but knew it would keep coming back cuz that's what they seem to always do. He removed the cyst and did an amazing job stitching her up, it left a faint line that is healing so well. She is excited to have it gone and is working now on healing the tiny scar left behind. This was a quick in house procedure I thought he handled wonderfully, and his staff are just as wonderful, friendly and helpful. I would recommend him to anyone needed Dermatological care! read more
