They have since had a revamp in dentists working for the practice (most front desk and hygienists remain the same) and Dr Lopez is AMAZING, and now they are open M-F! Dr Lopez and his staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome, heard and supported. I recommend Dr Lopez to all my friends! Of course the hygienist are some of the kindest people as well! He does great work or refers you out to good folks for things not in his expertise. He always seems to do enough to keep your teeth in good shape without any unnecessary expensive procedures. Thought a long time about leaving a review. I had my gums done about 2 years ago. This was always…read morean insecurity if mine and I finally figured out how to pay for it as insurance does not cover it. About 6-8 months after, I felt my gums hadn't looked as I wanted them to and just wasn't overall too happy with the result. So I called back and made an appt. I thought maybe my gums were growing back maybe since my teeth had looked different from the pictures I took right when I got the procedure (once it healed). To note, this was over $5,000 and I still felt guilty saying I wanted it touched up. Dr. Shapiro was nice but she told me they looked fine and charged me $50 for the appointment. I cried the whole way home. 2 years later, I'm looking into getting the procedure again with a different doc which will be another $5,000. While my experience was great the first time, I felt swept to the side when I wanted to go back even though this procedure took me forever to financially recover from. But I felt since it was my smile it mattered and I wanted to love it. Just for others who may be saving for this, make sure you advocate for yourself.

There are far safer alternatives she could be issuing preventing people from having to seek care elsewhere such as composite white resin** https://www.fda.gov/.../dental.../dental-amalgam-fillings.... DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILDREN HERE!!! Not only was work done on my child a WEEK after I had cancelled an appointment WITHOUT MY CONSENT, but they allowed a NON-AUTHORIZED family member, that was neither myself, the mother, or the father to make decisions for my child even after cancelling the appointment which I did not make a week prior. I am going to further report them to the better business bureau and the Massachusetts State Division of Health Care Facility Licensure and Certification to make them aware that Lisa Daft and her office are not only shooing ADOLESCENT PATIENT PARENTS AS YOUNG AS 3 out of the room regardless of Charlie Barkers order allowing them to be in there, but then further going and doing unauthorized work on minors. Do NOT bring your children here. They also only do mercury fillings on minors which is a blatant health hazard due to the porous and lethal contamination that mercury causes to humans.

I thought he was a decent dentist but I was a little dismayed by the fact that his office, in a converted house, was still very house-like and he definitely didn't pride himself on keeping up-to-date on new technologies (as a funny example, all of his bills were still on old-school paper ledgers - I guess he was afraid of computers). A couple of years ago, after being in Seekonk (my new hometown) for four years, I finally decided that it was time to find a new dentist. I was a little hesitant to go to a new dentist as you just never know which ones are quality dentists. I was referred to Dr. Molak by my wife and let me say, I am a fan for life! Pros: 1. His office is in a converted house like my former dentist but you wouldn't know it upon entering. Bright, clean, and inviting. 2. SiriusXM! I use SiriusXM for 75% of my waking hours and he is always playing good music which can help to calm you down (if you're a fraidy cat...not me!). 3. All of his associates are friendly, like all of them. Not a bad one in the bunch. 4. Dr. Molak is awesome. He's friendly, professional, and knows how to put you at ease with whatever procedure you're getting. My opinion is to stay away from the franchise dentist places or large practices as they're going to be out for getting as much revenue as they can. This means they might try to get you to undergo costly and potentially unnecessary procedures. Stick with a dentist who owns his own practice, stays up-to-date on the latest procedures, and makes you feel at ease. Dr. Molak is all of that which is why he comes highly recommended by me.
