The front desk staff told me that there is a 15 grace period for all other times except for the 4:15pm. All I'm asking for is courtesy and communication. If I wasn't making it to my appointment it would be responisble for me to call and cancel. However the same isn't required vice versa. I almost had a titty attck when they said the doctor left. How? The care seems nice but they never told me that before having my blood pressure taken that i wasn't supposed to eat within the hour. So it always read that i had high blood pressure. On my medical records the notes often said i was obese-- And i'm not... I'm just built heavier because pre pregnancy i used to go to the gym. The women that look after you here are nice but there are a few that have made me uncomfortable because of their attitudes in the past. One woman taking my blood made it extremely uncomfortable, i think she put the needle in incorrectly? And a woman taking my blood pressure didn't let my arm sit in the right position so it read wayyy higher than it was supposed to. My new ob/gyn has definitely made me realize how mediocre the care was for me here and it's a shame it took them pulling the rug from under me to find that out the hard way so close to the end of my pregnancy. Don't settle just because you want a black doctor. You see based off of the news that it doesn't matter what you do! The doctors at Emory midtown made it all over social media for Labor and Delivery icks. Most people just don't care these days. It's about the money for them.

Against my better judgment I continued to support this local business. I took my 8 month old son for a check up and was seen by Ruth Neeman of whom does not talk to you respectfully and isn't trained to understand how to identify the difference in weight between a breastfeeding baby and formula fed baby. She compared my son of whom is of south asian(Hindu) decent (known for small babies) and of whom is breastfed to the WHO chart that is compiled of babies fed formula and is not unique to race or creed. Furthermore ruth neeman has no respect or regard for patients with religious beliefs and religious exemption! Because we disagreed on vaccines and I exercised my right to refuse under my religious beliefs which the state of Georgia does recognize. After talking my experience over with my family we decided to see another practice for care, I called the office desk the very next day and told them I will no longer be a patient there because of my experience. LITERALLY THE VERY NEXT DAY CPS WAS KNOCKING AT MY DOOR, TELLING ME I HAD A MEDICAL NEGLECT COMPLAINT AGAINST ME! AND IT JUST SO HAPPENS WHAT THE CPS REPORTER WAS RECITING IN THE COMPLAINT THE SAME DISAGREEMENTS MYSELF AND RUTH NEEMAN WERE HAVING THE DAY BEFORE. MMMM COINCIDENCE? So for a whole month I had to explain the real truth to not get my son taken away, over lies and ruth neeman misusing her mandated reporter status. AND NOT TO MENTION RUTH NEEMAN LIED TO CPS AND SAID THAT I COULDN'T READ , OR WRITE (BUT SOMEHOW I MANAGED TO TAKE MYSELF AND SON TO APPOINTMENTS AND FILL OUT & SIGN PAPERWORK) AND WENT ON TO SAY I REFUSED MEDICAL CARE AFTER MY BIRTH (BLATANT LIES ,RUTH NEEAMAN WAS NOT IN ATTENDANCE AT MY BIRTH) . I have tried to avoid writing a bad review about this establishment but I do not want anyone to go through what I did! have spoken to the office manager Gwen Williams twice about this problem in July 2020 when I first made my complaint known to her till now I have not heard back and it is Sept 2020.

However my first time coming to this office at 18…read moreyears old by myself was very traumatic and i was young so i didn't really have the courage to stand up for myself. Anyways i had to get an ultrasound to confirm that i had cyst on my ovaries. I didn't catch her name but the ultrasound tech was light skin heavyset a little older she had twists or dreads . she was very rude and unprofessional. This was the type of ultrasound where they stick the probe in your vaginal area mind you again i am 18 and this is my first time having a procedure like this done. So i get undressed and i am now on the table shes getting ready to put the probe in but i kept on flinching and moving because i was anxious and nervous. She proceeded to roll her eyes and say "Are you sexually active ?" i say yes . She says "Well it feels like sex i need you to relax so we can get it over with it doesn't hurt it's just uncomfortable." I just brushed it off but i think about this every time i have an upcoming appointment here . That situation was very heartbreaking and disrespectful .
