Great people running it- Nice indoor range. Nice facility with clean, large restrooms, sitting area, snacks for purchase. Just a great place to go shooting. Pistol -25 yards. Rifle- (different area) 100 yards. The range officers are cool. They aren't trying to micro manage you. Limited gun and non-Fud selections for the size of the facility. Similar to most gun stores it's hard to get service unless you look like a cop. If you're under 35 good luck getting assistance without a hairy eyeball. And even then they aren't terribly attentive or keen on showing you their inventory behind the counter unless you explicitly ask to hold one. They'll kind of just point at it and talk about it then walk away, kind of a weird vibe. Selection is pretty good, just not fantastic service. Bought my first AR at GGS. I looked at the stock online and found what I wanted. I tried calling shortly after their opening to confirm but no answer. I decided I was going to make the drive over there anyway and left it to chance. The online stock wasn't completely correct (exact model and caliber), but still very happy with what I ended up with. Prices for the gun and some ammo were very friendly compared to most places in Atlanta. I'll probably need some motivation to drive out there for my regular needs. After reading through some of the less favorable reviews, I'm shocked that this is the same place! I had a great experience with my purchase. They have a nice selection of rifles, shotguns, pistols and accessories. I drove about an hour and a half because they had the pistol I wanted in stock, and at a great price! They were very friendly and I was in & out in less than 30 minutes. ( I shopped for a few accessories while waiting for them to process my paperwork and get the pistol from the back.) Walked in, was greeted immediately so I told them what I wanted. They had plenty of the model I wanted in stock even with the outrageous demand for firearms currently due the current volatile state thanks to enemies of our constitutional republic. Filled out the paperwork and gave them my DL and CC license for the background check. They had plenty of the model I wanted in stock. Was out of there within 15 minutes. I have had a horrible time dealing with this store. I have purchased well over 10 guns online getting them all shipped to the same place. I originally placed my order on the 4th. I began calling on the 12th to no answer. called a second time with no answer. called a third time with no answer, and threatened to cancel the order with my card. then, a man named mike answers the phone with an incredibly rude attitude saying how he has sent me all the information and i have not sent him any information on the FFL that it needs to be sent to. I have, referencing the emails. and then he says that he has not heard back from my FFL. This has never happened before since i use the same FFL for a reason, they are a professional store. When I ask whats so difficult, he insists that he will be cancelling my order and hangs up on me. I WARN ALL CONSUMERS, DO NOT USE THIS STORE TO PURCHASE ANYTHING. I called my FFL and they said they have not received anything from Georgia gun store. I even said do you mind searching, which they agreed. and again, they said there has been nothing sent from Georgia gun store. Horrible time wasting experience, made me wait on hold with my bank because they claimed they flagged my purchase for fraud. Come to find out the bank told me they ran my purchase it was pending, Georgia gun store told me it was just "their hunch" and really had no valid reason to cancel order. Great place to shop. I have purchased, probably a dozen guns from them in the past 2 years. Their prices are among the lowest I can usually find, the paperwork is fast and easy, no delays. They have an online store with pretty much whatever you want, and if the gun is in their warehouse(they have 10,000+ in stock in the warehouse easily), you can order it online for 25% down, and both times I have done that the gun was in the store, ready to be paid off and picked up within 72 hours. Nice selection of mags, parts, accessories, what's not to like? If I had to pick one thing to be critical about, it would be that the close at 5pm, which if you work a normal 8-5pm job, can make getting there during business hours a bit tricky. read more

Absolutely awesome store, Veteran owned with his wife. This little store has the most selection and fantastic prices compared to all the stores near me (Buford/Sugar Hill.) I wanted to get a Holosun HS510C, I called about 10 different gun stores and 8 out of 10 of them responded with "A Holo-what?" Trigger time was one I called theh very nice and helpful. I called GA Gun Store and the man who owns it, Michael, answered and said "Which color green or red?" so I drove down, got my hands on both of them and they even let me try on a rifle to let me test it out. Ended up with the Green (HE510GR.) Oh and was $50 than cheaper than Dead Center, the range near me. Way nicer too. My friend speaks very highly of this place. As we went to visit it, I was quite impressed with everything that is here. It is quite organized from the moment that you step in. Rifles / larger weapons on the back wall, while all of the handguns are within the cases. You are allowed to demo out some of the weapons, and all of the trained staff behind the counter present the guns to you cleanly. (making sure the chamber is clear and is unloaded). The prices that they offer in the store for the guns are a lot more affordable than most other stores in the area. I was able to buy a Waltham PPQ for $550 compared to other shops that were selling it for well over $600. The paperwork that you need to fill out is very quick and easy. They verify that you are a 'good' person by checking with the FBI Database. If you have your carry permit, it makes it go even faster! Overall, the staff was very friendly, had great knowledge and the location was well maintained. There is a private parking lot outside (shared with the shopping mall area), so it is also safe and secure. read more
