I've purchased from this range multiple times, and the staff has always been friendly, helpful, and welcoming. You're greeted as soon as you walk in, and the range itself is clean, well‑maintained, and has a fresh atmosphere. It's a big difference compared to other ranges where all you smell is lead and gunpowder the entire time. The only downside is that they don't provide D‑Lead soap, which is specifically made to remove metal residue from your hands after shooting. That's the only thing I wish they offered. Apparently the gun range passes that "never expire" are no longer excepted! I joined a couple years ago at $500 for the year mainly for the range. I received several range passes that "never expire" at that time and more when buying a couple firearms. When renewal time came around I had only used the ranges a couple times and so I couldn't see spending that money again as I had all these passes "that never expire"! I thought I'd use these up and then rejoin afterward. I took a friend to the range last Friday and my passes (still had ten left) were refused! Later I emailed asking to speak to someone to explain my feelings regarding this but have had no replies. read more

If you have never experienced the Georgia Gun club you are missing out. I decided to visit during the week to avoid the crowds of people. I got there right when they opened. They have plenty of parking. If you have never been there you have to complete a standard form and watch a video on gun safety. The video is about 10-15 minutes long. After that you can pay to use the range. They have a seperate area for rifles and handguns. I was able to get everything I needed there. I spoke to one of the firearms instructor and he provided some good tips for me to shoot better. Everyone was very nice there. In the end I spoke to Melissa. She showed me around and told me about the classes they offered. Once the holidays are over my husband and I plan on coming back to get private instruction hopefully from Melissa. They make you watch this awful video if it's your first time there even if you've been shooting for years. They treat you different if you're not white or male so super great start there. I really don't want to fall in love with GaGC. There's A LOT to like about shooting there. I arrived before noon on Sunday. There was a crowd already waiting at the door. Everyone was friendly and helpful. If it's your first time, you will need to watch their safety video and sign their waiver. After all that, I was on my way to the 100-yd range. Pros: + The hand washing station. The fact they have one is great. And it's conveniently located right out the door before you re-enter the main lobby. + Friendly service at counter & with the rso. + Clean retail area & range area. Intuitive range controls are easy to figure out at first sight. + Adjustable distance on rifle range + 8 rifle Lanes Cons: - Far for me. It takes me a good hour of time and a little more than 40 miles on the road. - $$$. I can drive a shorter distance and shoot outdoors. Bottom line: I've shot 100 yards indoor at another location. If I want to shoot 100yds indoor, GaGC is my spot. read more

I came all the way from CT to shoot here. Well OK I came to see my cousin but I am very glad I had some time to stop at the Georgia Gun Club. Best safety video I have seen by far (And I have seen A LOT of them) Gun selection to rent had a lot of choices and they don't charge range time if you are renting the gun and buying their ammo. I shot 2 hand guns and 2 rifles. All from the same range stall which was great. The staff was friendly, the firearm instructor in the range was knowledgeable, and the guns worked flawlessly, and I found the prices were very much the normal I have seen at all ranges. I couldn't have asked for more. I highly recommend giving this place a shot. Whether you are a newbie or a veteran this is a cool place to go and shoot and I will be back if I'm ever in the area again. Thank You Guys. read more

If you are a new shooter looking for a friendly atmosphere then this is the place. I was anxious and nervous at first but after being greeted by Eric at the front desk he reassured us that is normal for first time shooters. Once on the range we got help from the range officers with how to operate the firearms that we never fired before. Everyone here is very friendly and helpful, because of this me and my family are now members. We come and shoot weekly, and my wife recently took a class with Kyle that she enjoyed and said she will be attending more in the future. I'm happy we joined the Georgia Gun Club and hope to learn and become a better shooter. read more

The Basic Pistol Class taught on March 9th was the best! Our instructor, Lauren Dunne, kept everyone's attention with her smile and personality and kept us on our toes with her questions! The small group/class of eight people, allowed more participation and interaction and we felt like everyone was there to support each other. Small classes are the most personable! New friends were made and more knowledge on gun safety and handling was taken away...always something more to learn! Everyone was made to feel comfortable during class...those from beginner to people that have been shooting for a time. We supported each other and that made the class enjoyable. If you take this class, you must have Lauren as the instructor and make sure that Kyle is around to speak and comment. He enjoyed being there as much as we did! He was great to assist one on one while Lauren was instructing the rest of the class. The range time was GREAT! You could tell that Lauren was in her "zone" and was enjoying every minute of it. She (and Kyle) was there to help anyone and everyone. Shooting at that small piece of paper 8.5 x 11 really makes you concentrate and even if we missed every shot, we had the best time ever! You don't get this camaraderie from just anywhere. Try one class and you will see! Please have more classes (gun cleaning, home safety, etc.). I recently joined the Georgia Gun Club as a member, what attracted me to the place is how friendly and knowledgeable is the everyone is. As a new gun owner, I felt very comfortable in the place, the staff is AWESOME! They really take time to understand your need and attend to it. Shout out to Manager Kyle and Eric are invaluable to that place, they are very friendly, knowledgeable and most of all very professional. They make it a point to answer all questions, this is something you don't see a lot now that a lot of business are taking advantage of COVID-19 to take short cut and provide poor customer service Great business to patronize! My wife and I are members here and have taken a few of their courses (beginning pistol, concealed carry, defensive pistol). We had visited other ranges and they seemed dark and dangerous. The Georgia Gun Club is a friendly place with friendly people. There are a lot of older folks there who seem like regular people. Staff are friendly and glad to help. The courses are done in a serious and organized way and the instructors have a lot of background experience. My wife and I were totally new to pistol shooting and we were made to feel comfortable and helped to learn by patient and knowledgeable people. Most recently we took the defensive pistol class, which is an all day experience starting with lecture and moving into drawing and shooting, moving and shooting, and other exercises. Class size is small and staff to student ratio was great. I felt challenged, but not pressured, which is a good balance for me. Safety was an obvious priority. We are planning to take this course again in a few months to keep sharpening our skills. This is not a place for young gang bangers. This is a relaxed place for people to learn to shoot, enjoy shooting, and become better at it--at your own pace. There's as much or little help as you want. I am glad my wife and I found it. She also feels comfortable to go by herself. I know that would not have been true for the other ranges we visited. read more

Really impressed with this facility. Extremely clean and professional. Took a Defensive Pistol class with Wade and Kyle and am glad I did. These guys first and foremost are safe. They demand safety. That's comforting when working with any firearms. Secondly they were very knowledgeable and used real world scenarios to help you understand the dynamics associated with violent attacks and how to avoid them if possible or get into the fight if necessary. Best shooting range in Georgia and I'm proud to be a member! Today, I completed the Georgia Gun Club Basic Pistol Shooting Course with my wife, Andria S Daniels. Our lead instructor, Kyle Klincko and assistant instructor, Mike were the best! They were both very knowledgeable and patient with us on the range! Even though I've been shooting for some years, the class still provides a wealth of information and instruction! With my wife being a new shooter, both Kyle and Mike took their time and explained the basic concepts exceptional well! There were three other brand new shooters in the class as well, even shooting a pistol for their first time. I would highly recommend this class to anyone interested in purchasing or who owns a firearm as well as those needing a refresher because you can never get enough of the fundamentals of pistol shooting and safety! For first time shooters, the instructors will help you out. It's the safest range I've been to. As for the store, I usually know what I want. They're helpful and they even stayed open a little later to finish my sale. I'll say past the store section at the range counter and the ranges themselves, they can't be touched. They carry a huge selection of pistols in the store and a decent amount of accessories. All other guns they have mid range stuff and a limited selection. Most can be ordered. Was there earlier and the gentleman behind the counter was visibly under the influence Jimmy I believe his name was. On the way out he throws me and I'm young nephew ids on the counter and turns his back. I laugh it off and walk away. Jimmy proceeds to yell what at me on my way to the door. I then proceed to speak with a nice young woman who offerd me a free session. But my thing is this guy was stumbling around slurring words with a loaded firearm on his hip. read more

I took the Basic Pistol Shooting Course from here over the weekend. It was worth every penny I spent. The class was small which I enjoyed. Our instructor was Kyle and he was great. He really knew what he was talking about with his many years of experience in the service, being an instructor and carrying a fire arm himself. Kyle definitely had a real gift for teaching. He made the class interactive and fun not just sitting listening to someone talk the whole time. When it came time for the hands on training in the range Kyle was patient and encouraging. I was nervous once it came to shooting but Kyle talked me through it and made sure I was comfortable and had the proper gun to fire. I went into this class not wanting a Glock and through my experience and interaction with Kyle, I will now be a member of the Glock loving family. People have said this club is expensive but I disagree. The class cost was right in line with other gun safety classes in the area. I felt welcomed by every employee I came in contact with so now I feel like I have a safe and welcoming place to go shoot or ask for help if I need any in the future. I have been to other gun ranges and they were "cheaper" but also not as safe as this range and as far as I am concerned the little bit of cost difference this range might be is definitely worth the investment. The range at Georgia Gun club is very clean and has extra layers to ensure the patrons safety. I am glad I choose Georgia gun club. I feel this will be a long lasting relationship. read more

Had a great experience here. I gave it a 5 star as I had no complaints and felt very comfortable. It was well staffed, clean and organized. I haven't been to a range in years (decades)...so...there ya go. The staff was fantastic, educational and light (Jamie). I really enjoyed the arrangement and ease of it all. Long rifle and pistol area the same. Restroom tidy and a station for washing off the gun powder too. There were sherrifs present practicing in another range area. I drive 50 minutes just to go to this range. I often go to sight my hunting rifles before the season. I rarely have to wait for a lane to open because they have like 10 of them (I think). 100 yard indoor ranges are not easy to find. Air conditioned facility with a friendly staff. I love this range I only wish there were more of them or this one was closer to me. I love the separation of pistols and rifles. And the rifle range being a 100 yards just makes sense. It's by far the most comfortable rifle range as well, with seats and table to rest your rifle and arms to aim in with precision. Each lane feels private and the targets are easily and precisely controlled by meters typed in on the digital screen screen in your lane. When the target comes in it doesnt come in like a out of control piece a paper in the wind if you under stand what I mean. The store has everything you could possibly need and more. I mean every time I'm done shooting I have to walk around and look at things I cant afford. But all in all it's a place I would recommend coming a USMC veteran. read more

I needed my 12 gauge shotgun cleaned up by the gunsmith. He advised it would be $35. When I picked it up the price jumped to $75. Upon asking why the gunsmith said he had to clean the action. He looked down the barrel and went to the back to clean it. The work he supposed to have done was poor. I spoke to one of the general managers, but he didn't seam to care. I would not recommend anyone trust this business at all. They were deceitful in the transaction and the manner of hearing my complaint. The owner just responded to this post. He was incorrect on the quoted amount to clean the 12 gauge. It was $35. I would have expected the business owner to have reduced the amount to the quoted amount. The cleaning of a shotgun does include the barrel. But it was not done until I picked it up. read more

First impression are everything.... Was checking out some guns, the staff was not friendly at all nor did they care to ask me if I needed any help. Last time I checked we were in a PANDEMIC non of the staff had mask on or were following CDC guidelines for COVID-19. The staff carried them self's VERY poorly. I asked a couple questions the staff was too busy on their phones to even pay me any attention. I will NEVER return to this place. I will also let all my friends/family to never come here. read more

OK, full disclosure... this is the only gun club I have ever visited. Therefore, I have nothing to compare it to. All I can say is that it is clean and spacious. They have a nice selection of firearms and accessories. My wife and I took a basic pistol class there, and it was very good. They have regular competitions. The range is nice, with a NRA Safety Officer inside with you the whole time. The staff is friendly and helpful. We liked it so much that we joined! read more
