It is affordable but there are some hidden costs that aren't mentioned immediately; scrubs, specific shoes, blood pressure cuff, state exam fees, but these are things that are reused during my career. It is by no means a waste of money but it is an added expense that I hadn't foreseen. Ms. King, the instructor, is a fair, concise, and quality educator. A large part of the coursework focuses on the elderly, which is always a growing need in the work world, but I've met and worked on an ongoing basis for people who are not nearly as needful and codependent as the classwork assumes. It is great to have that information, but it's not the only option for caregivers. There are a LOT of jobs available with this completed coursework alone. This class certification has basically saved me from complete ruin after losing my job to Coodies-19. Without giving out personal information on my clients; they are each lovely individuals who happen to need some help. They are truly kind people in their own rights and their needs are not necessarily hospital level types of care. This arrangement suits me personally and I am able to take care of myself financially while awaiting the state certification process. I highly suggest this school to anyone interested in making a career choice into healthcare and does NOT want loan debt or years of invested time.

The suite is in an office building with free parking and the staff was friendly. There are secure lockers for your belongings. Be sure to know the provisions of your individual exam. My exam allowed restroom and water breaks and I had no issue taking one between the first and second module; however, after a shift change, one of the employees at the front told me I wasn't allowed to get a drink of the water stored in my locker during a second restroom break, despite telling them what exam I was there for. Maybe he was new, and thankfully, someone else told him I was allowed to get my water from my locker to take a drink in the lobby. I realize this is outside the control of the employees but I find any organization that denies anyone access to the restroom or water is questionable. I was allowed to wear a sweater, thankfully, because it was cold in that room. I wore it into the facility and maybe that is why it was allowed. No personal belongings, including Chapstick (because there is writing on the label), are allowed in the room. I didn't think to ask if I could bring it in if I took off the wrapper. If I have to take another PearsonVue exam I would return to this facility.

The class is for everyone even though you may be with your different groups. Everyone gets to choose whether or not they want to do 1 large or 2 medium or 2 small. I chose 1 large. Once everyone gets their bowl(s), we all sit with our groups for further instructions. Depending on the size of our bowls, we are instructed how to fill gravel and soil. Afterwards, we choose plants. We could choose 1 large and 1 small or 3 small. I chose 3 small. Further instruction is given when we decide on which plants want. Then we're off to making our bowl(s) as creative as we want. Overall, it is at the hour mark. The host gladly would take photos of your group if you want. She continued to give instructions how to take are of our plants. I did like the experience. I am writing this to warn other parents about this dangerous and unprofessional daycare. My…read more3-year-old son repeatedly came home with unexplained bruises and scratches. The worst incident was on 10/20/2025, where he had visible injuries (face, head, back, and side). Staff gave multiple conflicting stories and refused to show full camera footage. Police report filed: OCA 25-070182. They claimed another 3-year-old assaulted him, yet no staff stepped in to stop it. This was not the first injury. He chipped his tooth on 9/26/2025 with no proper documentation. There were at least two other times he came home hurt with no explanation. Every time I asked to see video, I was ignored or denied. The regional director admitted on police body cam that they were understaffed. Despite promising to call me the next day, I never heard back from the owner or management. High staff turnover, dirty facility, chaotic classrooms, and unsafe practices are all major issues. Older children are mixed with 3-year-olds. Teachers appear overwhelmed and disengaged, and hygiene is terrible (filthy carpets, bathrooms, and toys). They also mishandled illnesses including multiple RSV and COVID cases and lied about health exposures. The food is poor quality and there is no real kitchen, just aisle stoves. Between the safety concerns, lack of supervision, refusal to provide transparency, and dishonesty, this daycare is a serious risk to children.
