I left stronger but more importantly, that I mattered to this group of people. Kelia Brown and Chontarous Jones, the ladies at the front desk are the first people that you meet. Never did they not greet me with a smile when I arrived or with a smile when I left. They were so good to my wife that I had to remind them that I was the patient not her! Just two courteous and caring ladies. Thank you. So my initial evaluation and most of my rehab was directed by Tyleka Moore. Ty brought me from a place of uncertainty to belief in myself. All with a nice smile and a great attitude. Now, since I had a few sessions, I worked with the other PT members. Kasey, Rachel, Shelissa, Travis never made me feel unimportant. They are all wonderful, hard working, and helpful. I have watched them work with patients in wheelchairs, amputees, and people like myself who needed assistance to walk. Everyone got the same care and great care from all of them. I spent some time with Travis and I have a lot good workouts under my belt with him. Just a good dude who is dedicated to his job. Closer to the end of my sessions, I was assigned to the newbie Carly. She is a perfect addition to the team and helped me make my final push out the door. She is just as wonderful and helpful as her team mates. The hidden gem in this place is Tim Nobles from O/T. I didn't need O/T but that didn't stop Tim from meeting me and my wife. I spent some time with Tim and some good memories were made with him just talking and having good laughs. His co-workers Kortnee and Amber were just as nice and courteous. This is a great place to rehab close to home and worthwhile. One day soon, I plan to go back and visit this fine group of human beings just to say hi and thank you! God bless you all.

Peake's Social Worker, Leigh Ann, worked with the family to set up our veteran's ability to participate in person. Peake's transportation person, Willie Mae, volunteered to come in on a Saturday to transport our special veteran safely and on time. The MGHF family deeply appreciates Peake's cooperation and assistance to get this veteran to his special event.

Instead of their own capabilities they wanted a limited income person to spend additional money on something as simple as a knee brace. And now, with prescriptions that a person has taken regularly for years (from this doctor) for diabetes, we have had to spend from our limited income because they wont answer phones, or messages left behind. We started calling 2 weeks in advance and still nothing. Even the pharmacy called them multiple times and got nothing. They are woefully arrogant, seriously incompetent and if anyone needs a real doctor - DON'T GO HERE!

I recently moved to the area and needed a new primary doctor. I did some research, and after…read morelooking at reviews on several practices in the area, I finally found Houston Family Care at Houston Lake, Dr. Izzo. I called and was able to get an appointment for the following week. The lady who scheduled my appointment was very friendly and told me she would mail me my new patient paperwork to fill out in advance of my appointment to save time. The paperwork took a long time to fill out, so I'm glad that they mailed it. Parking is plentiful, so there were no issues finding a spot. The receptionist was friendlyish. Once you get past the front desk, the staff is very friendly. I was taken to the back within 10 mins of my appointment time. All of the nurses that I interacted with had great personalities, and they made me feel very comfortable. The nurse took my vitals and gathered information for the doctor. I sat in the room and waited for 30 mins to an hour for the doctor to come in. Doctor Izzo has great bedside manners and is very knowledgeable. He took all of my concerns seriously and set up referrals for everything we spoke about since I needed all new doctors. I'm pleased with my new doctor's office and physician. I would recommend this practice.

I usually go to Med Stop in Bonaire, but there is no comparison. The doctor on staff today was Dr. Monde-Jones. I apologize that I cannot remember the nurse that assisted me, and her name does not appear on my paperwork, but both were fantastic. The nurse was thorough in the questions that she asked, and actually listened to the responses. Dr. Monde-Jones continued by asking next-level questions that allowed her to formulate the best care plan for me. A times I felt as if I was talking too much because I'm not accustomed to physicians and medical professionals actually listening so intently without interrupting. Dr. Monde-Jones was very personable and I really wish she could be my Primary Care Physician. Yes, I asked several times but unfortunately she cannot. Regardless, the knowledge and guidance that I walked away with will help me make informed and confident decisions with regards to the direction I take with my medical care. I highly recommend Dr. Monde-Jones and the nurse that was on shift 7/26/2025 at 1030 hours.
